A: If you want both smooth and chunky, pulse half of your food a few times and add the rest after a few more spins

A: The way to alternate between consistency, is to alter the amount of time the blender blends. For chunks, pulse the blender a few times and review to see if you achieve the consistency you want. For purees and mashes, it will require more blending time.

A: The driveshaft and the orange parts are separate pieces. It's designed that way so that you can properly clean the interior of food maker. If you need more guidance, our website contains the manual and how to take apart and reconstruct the food bowl and it's components.

A: The bowl of our One step food maker deluxe is Tritan plastic. Which is food grade safe and dishwasher safe (top rack).

A: Yes just make sure they are fully steamed/cooked so they blend precisely. The Food Maker Deluxe can be used in one of three ways: Automatic Steam & Blend, Steam Only or Blend Only.

A: We recommend the following to clean the water tank. Easily remove it from the machine and take off the cap. Then use warm, soapy water to wash it. One suggestion is to fill the tank with the warm soapy water, put the cap on and shake it ensuring the soapy water reaches all corners of the tank. Then make sure to fully rinse it before using again.
