  • A: Our Dark Chocolate Flavored Melting Wafers are formulated with high quality ingredients but because the recipe does not include cocoa butter, it is not considered chocolate.  Instead, it is called a compound coating.  It is for this reason that “tempering” is not required prior to dipping.  All you must to do is melt the coating and dip your favorite snacks or fruits in it for great results.  Also, because it is not considered chocolate, we do not list cacao content.

    Great melting chocolate

    I use the milk chocolate wafers to coat Reese’s pretzel nuggets.They melt easily in a glass bowl ,50% power at 20 second intervals.I use the white chocolate ones with dried cranberries and pecans and drop on wax paper.Both taste very good.
