BEST COOKBOOK EVER!
I love this cookbook because I have made multiple delicious meals for my family. Each recipe comes with a picture and very good step by step explaining how to make it to help you. Also I love this cookbook because it has some easy recipes and also some challenging recipes to help you get better at cooking. I 100% recommend for you to get this cookbook!!

The recipes in this cookbook are HORRIBLE! Apparently “America’s Test Kitchen” didn’t actually test these recipes before publishing this cookbook. Don’t waste your money.

This gorgeous, full-color hardcover book is amazing!! Bought it for my 11yo and she has already {successfully!!) made several delicious meals out of it- including homemade marinara sauce! I can not say enough about this awesome book!! We plan on buying it again as gifts! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! Our 7yo is cooking from it too. Also, the recipes are for REAL FOOD- mostly from scratch!!

Great book, smells funny...
I regularly use ATK recipes, and find them consistently delicious. I purchased this book for the daughter of a friend, on her 11th birthday. The daughter picked a recipe (crispy tofu with green beans), we discussed the ingredients and the steps, and she was able to make it for lunch for her mom and herself with no additional help. She didn't have any previous cooking experience. Her mother reported that lunch was delicious, and she had always wondered how restaurants made their tofu crispy, and now she knew because her daughter had taught her about tossing the tofu in corn starch before sauteing it.
My only complaint about the book is that it has a weird smell.

Lots of little tip boxes and the resource pages ROCK! Bought one for my classroom and one for the cousins to each have. Good book for beginner - needs more recipes for meals
The cook book has lots of photos and gives very good step by step instructions for the beginner. But they did not need to waste paper on how to make sandwiches, any child over the age of 7 knows how to make a grilled sandwich, a Quesadilla or how to make lemonade. There should have been more recipes for meals.
