A: Thank you for your inquiry. We recommend checking with your pediatrician prior to adding cereal to a bottle. All of our nipples are designed for liquid flow so you will need to test several levels of nipples to determine what is appropriate. We recommend starting with a level 2 or 3 and adjust accordingly to the baby’s needs.

I brought this to have extra nipples for my son bottles by Dr Brown. I love the wide nipples better and my son does too. He is able to drink his bottle with no problem. But it is time for me to move up in nipple size so I will be buying this type of nipples again but a different flow size.

Store should inspect returned products!
Bought these and noticed they had been opened and returned previously. When I further inspected them they had water stains all over and were a level 1. So annoying as now I have to drive all the way back to the store to return them and find the level 2 I feel that bottle nipples shouldn’t be returned once opened. I didn’t go to the thrift store to purchase these and expected a new unopened product.

Wide Neck Stage 2
Love these for my 4-month old. We use the glass wide-neck bottles. Glass is much better than plastic and wide neck is much better than the skinny bottles because it’s more realistic to the size of a breast. Took a little while for her to get use to the faster flow nipple but she’s doing well now after a couple wks of practice. Now bottle feeding takes 20 minutes.

Honestly i love the add on nipples
Dr browns sent me these to test and honestly i just thought oh these nipple arent going to last, itll be the same and ill just have to purchase a new bottle set. HOWEVER either my little man knew about these before i did or be just grew stronger and needed a better nipple within weeks. I love that i just had to switch the nipple to keep my baby feed at his pace. With my oldest it was hard finding and keeping up with a different flow within the same brand so totally glade i can stay within the same brand this time and not spend so much or have so much clutter!

These bottles are great!
While my breastfed infant was iffy on these bottles, I personally loved them. Compared to other bottles we've used, they were easy to clean, simple to assemble, and helped avoid gas and fussiness after feeding.
