  • A: No. You have to get rid of the yellow first, which requires wet sanding with 1500 or 2000 grit. Then buffing with plastic compound, but thruth be told any rubbing compound would work except the aggressive cutting type. Headlight restoration kits are available, probably on here but if not, Harbor Freight has a kit for cheap. I suppose you can spray this product for long term protection AFTERWARDS, like a clearcoat.

    Oh no my orange paint!!

    The orange paint only sprayed half of the can and then the rest would not come out of the can. I am requesting an exchange. However the other colors that I bought from this supplier and for this brand have worked perfect so I think this is just a fluke or just one bad can. I don’t think this a reflection on this brand or on target I think sometimes things just might get messed up in the manufacturing.

The best technique to remove the cap from Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint is to squeeze both sides simultaneously (where the indents are) and then pull straight up. The cap should then come off the can without damaging the nozzle.     Beyond Disappointed

    I ordered 6 spray paints. All the same. I received 4 of what I ordered and 2 cans of whatever the employee decided to add. Not the same color or finish. I don’t know how they could just randomly decide to send 2 paints that are not even close to what I ordered.

    Shiny and tacky - Evening Navy Ultra Matte

    not Ultra Matte as advertised. More like a satin. Also ended up feeling kind of tacky/sticky though paint seems to have dried. Very disappointed that it really wasn't even close to being Matte. I purchased Evening Navy and Slate. Both were lighter and glossier than the caps indicated. Evening Navy was more of a slightly darker royal blue. I used them on a drawer that was old after spraying with a primer - adherance and coverage seems fine.

It is important to vigorously shake the can for at least 1 minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle before pressing the nozzle.     Broken and missing spray nozzles

    The item itself was not the issue. My son had ordered a previous can day before but spray was not working. He didn’t have time to take it back so I ordered another one for him next day and this came with no nozzle. It was late at night when we realized it was missing the entire nozzle so we couldn’t get another one. Luckily for us we had a different color same brand that we were able to remove nozzle from and still use the second can. It was frustrating and inconvenient as we were using for a project that had to be done by that night. Again the paint was not the issue the issue was with the can and nozzle missing or not working properly
