Slip this product snd buy something better designed with more features.
I wouldn’t buy this product again and I’m returning this one. 1) the lock butting doesn’t lock firmly in place due to the forward pushing design so you have to press it the whole time. 2) there are options for the doggie bag compartment add on, which is $10 and a light that is sticky taped on, for another $25. Which means you would be paying $60 to make this as functional as a $21 to $27 similarly featured item from another company. Add on the faulty “lock” feature and it’s just a pass. I’m returning and have ordered two of another brand with a light and baggie holder.

Works well but some design flaws
Overall this leash has worked great for us, there are just a couple things I wished that I had thought about before buying it. The rope part of the leash is so thin that it super hard to see, especially as it gets dark out. We’ve had people almost trip over it or run into it multiple times. Also, if you have to grab onto the rope part I’m afraid you’d get rope burns. I wish I’d gotten the one for bigger dogs that has the thick black webbing all the way up the leash.

Durable and reliable dog leash
I have 3 of these leashes because I love them so much. The tape design is better than cord to prevnt rope burn if tangled. Sturdy and reliable for daily walks with my 6 rescue Dogs. Essential for safety without fence.

Don't waste your time
No clue how this passed the design phase. My puppy chewed off the ribbon connecting the two main pieces, rendering it useful (not sure how anyone would have thought it was a good idea to use a flimsy thin ribbon for this purpose but here we are). I thought I found a workaround and re-attached the two pieces with a sturdy metal loop and, while it fixed this issue, later on she got loose because the clip detached from her collar. This thing is useless and should be pulled from market until they do a redesign. It fails the leash test.

Dangerous
Dangerous - Our dog saw a bunny and went to chase it. I tried to grab the leash harder so he couldn't get away and the rope tore into my skin. It literally burned it so hard that there is a huge cut on my hand. This may has also tore into my daughter's legs as the dog got wrapped around her. Do not buy this!
