  • A: Our products are not tear free and are recommended for children 3 years and up. For a formula to be “tear-free” a chemical that numbs the eye is added. At Fairy Tales Hair Care our commitment to clean, gentle ingredients is important to us and our customers. Therefore, we choose not to use this chemical. We have always found a damp wash cloth over the eyes during rinsing to be super helpful in avoiding the getting product in the eye.

Q: There seems to be a contradiction. The description says it is nut free however the ingredients state it has Almond oil in it, which is not safe for those with nut allergies. What is going on?

Works like Magic! A little bit goes a long way!

Smells Amazing & Leaves Hair Silky

This smells amazing...just like lemonade. It leaves my daughter's hair so silky smooth. Her hair is left feeling soft and tangle-free. I work a little extra into her hair when I'm drying it to make it extra shiny.

Works great on pool hair

I bought this and the Lifeguard Shampoo to use on my little blonde mermaid. She’s been in the pool all summer and her hair went from soft and smooth to coarse and unmanageable. The minute I started using the Lemon-Aid conditioner and Lifeguard shampoo on her, I noticed a difference. Her hair is back to being healthy, soft, and smooth after just a week of use.
