    Great for teenage acne

This has been super good in his routine at preventing as many. He still has some but not as many as before. They are very saturated but the formula dries down and absorbs on the skin pretty quickly without leaving a sticky residue. Great price for the size so I’ll continue buying these for him.

    Really cleans the skin

I think it does a great job of cleaning out my pores and removing dirt and makeup. I think it is great for acne prone skin as well. I’m gonna give it to my son to use as well since he is starting to get acne and he’s not the greatest at cleansing his skin. I don’t notice too much of a scent just a slight one. It does dry my skin a little, but nothing a good moisturizer doesn’t help with.

The scent is also calming and it does not smell of strong chemicals. I did notice clear blemish reduction after a few uses so I will continue to use this product in my routine. I’ve been using them for about a month & haven’t had many new breakouts. Since they are alcohol-free they are not drying my skin out like some pads do. The aloe seems to protect my skin barrier. I keep a jar in my gym bag & give my face a quick swipe after a game if I’m not going to shower immediately. I also clean the inside of my hockey helmet with them - just a quick swipe after every use - & have seen a difference with my forehead acne. The pads are small & well saturated & very easy to use & don’t bleach your pillowcase.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Thayers facial pads before, but this time it was the Lemongrass fragrance and I expected so much from this product and it was not compatible with my skin. It didn’t feel good. Nor did I feel like it calmed breakouts. It seemed really strong for my skin and didn’t help with texture. It didn’t feel like any residue was left after use, just a normal feeling but I was not a fan. Lemongrass and Witch hazel are great for bugs and I even tried the pads on bites and rashes and it did not cure those either so I am sure those two ingredients are low on the list which is why it is not effective.

The first thing I noticed is how durable the pads themselves are they don’t fall apart while using them and they’re absolutely drenched with the product. It definitely feels like you’re getting enough serum on each pad. They leave your skin, feeling really cool, refreshed, and clean after use without feeling overly harsh or drying. I liked using them after washing my face, especially when my skin felt oily or congested. That said, I’m not sure I’d say they’re more effective than something like targeted pimple patches for active breakouts.
