About this item

  • 2 Finishes: coarse side for shaping and a finer surface for smoothing
  • Satisfaction guaranteed: return defective items for replacement
  • Quantity: 20 emery boards

Description

This set of dual sided long lasting boards is perfect for filing and shaping nails. The two different textures are designed for different purposes; one allows you to smooth away rough surfaces and the other is perfect for shaping nails.

Long lasting quality boards. Two textures. Manufactured from high-quality materials to ensure long-lasting performance. 2 finishes: coarse side for shaping and a finer surface for smoothing.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Nails should always be filed when dry to ensure smooth edges. Hold emery board at an angle just under the nail edge. Using the shaping surface (dark side) of the board, start on one side of the nail filing in one direction toward the center of the nail using light strokes. Then file the other side of the nail in the same manner to achieve the preferred shape. Using the same procedure, smooth away any rough edges with the finishing surface (light side) of the emery board. For best results, nails should be filed into an oval shape following fingertip contour. Filing into a point weakens the nail.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: TRIM products are guaranteed to be superior in lasting performance and free from defects in material and workmanship. Return defective items for replacement.

Q: Can I use it on a two yo toddler's nails ?

submitted by PS - 5 years ago
  • A: Hi PS, thanks for the question. We do not recommend using these on your toddler's nails. The abrasive surface could be too rough for delicate baby nails and skin.

Guests are saying

The emery boards offer a budget-friendly solution for quick nail filing, making them convenient for on-the-go use. While they are lightweight and easy to carry, many guests find them to be too flimsy and lacking durability. The texture is often criticized for being too rough or not distinct enough between sides. However, they can serve well for light touch-ups and are a good option for those who need disposable files.

    These are just OK.

Honestly I have a really hard time figuring out which side is the grittier side and which side is the finer side and it’s not written anywhere on the packaging to say what color is which grit so I just use whichever side. They’re very flimsy & don’t last long so I use one per each hand but honestly for something cheap they kind of serve their purpose.. I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular but they’re ok. They do fall apart really quickly if you have wet hands/feet so definitely only use them dry. I will say the size is great for getting into the tight spaces and the side walls of your nails and toes.
