4k Is not there for 15 ft .. what did I pay for? False advertisement?
Does not work .. continually goes in and out of display. Why claim this is 4K when it isn't.

Worked Like a Charm with 2015 Macbook Pro
Hooked up my 2015 15" Macbook Pro to my new 1440P 144hz monitor and it went into its native 2k resolution immediately. A quick settings tweak in system preferences took the display's refresh rate to 120hz (144hz doesn't seem to be possible on mac). Looks great! Very pleased!

Works perfectly
I needed a mini-dp to dp adapter for the Monoprice 27" monitor (37922) to connect my 2012 Mac mini. Works perfectly; note that HDMI from an old Mac will *not* work. You need this.

immediately recognized iMac as external monitor
I connected the DisplayPort end to my HP EliteBook 850 with its Intel HD Graphics 620, and the mini-DisplayPort end to my mid-2010 27" iMac, and the iMac immediately went into external display mode as a mirrored desktop. I used Windows display settings to change the display mode to extended desktop, and the iMac immediately went to its native 2560x1440 resolution. It also immediately played audio from the notebook computer. Great solution for my situation!

It does a pretty good job of carrying the video signals from my computer and putting them inside my monitor.

Works with HTC Vive
Cheap cable, works with my Vive. I can't really ask for anything else out of it.
