We're sorry to hear of your disappointment with this consumer favorite. Please note, the included paint is a specially formulated, water-based, weather resistant acrylic that works best/brightest over a rock base coat of white. Layering may be needed to achieve the opaque level you desire.

Mine don’t glow in the dark, followed the directions but no glow.

We're sorry to hear of the difficulties you are experiencing. Please make sure you've applied the glow paint to a fully dried/cured rock and have "charged" the spots with a bright or blue light. They will produce a subtle glow for a short time, but will require re-charging and eventually may fade.

They are heavy and sturdy and they came in a decently packaged box. The instructions were clear as to what to do with the rocks and the paint and we definitely had fun! I’ll be buying this again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a hit with my kids and it kept them entertained for hours! They especially loved the glow in the dark paint that comes in the tubes to make it easier to draw. My only gripe is that some of the rocks it came with weren't great for painting on (very round and lumpy), while others were perfectly smooth and flat. The only reason this is even a complaint is because my kids fought over who got to paint the nicer rocks haha.

Large, medium and small rocks are included. Formed by nature, each rock is unique. Part of the fun with this kit is letting the size, shape and surface of the rock inspire your creativity. The creative process is a key component of this kit - it is a true "open ended creative experience". A piece of Swiss cheese, the moon or a dish of ice cream for a bumpy rock. A broken rock can be a cookie with a bite taken out of it. Paint a face on a smaller rock etc. The fun possibilities are endless!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old could not WAIT to open this rock painting activity. My son, who is 5 and not nearly as into art, was ready to paint some rocks too. This was a pleasant surprise. There was plenty inside the box to keep them both busy for quite sometime. There’s plenty of paint for later too, if they feel like finding their own rocks. My only complaint is the paint is quite thin so it takes a few coats to make the rocks as vibrant as the box depicts. Luckily it dries fast! Overall, I’m happy with this product and would recommend.
