I bake birthday cakes & include a lighter & candles w each order. I love the design of these lighters but unfortunately they do not work properly..I bought 2 boxes & every one has to be struck over 3 or 4 times to ignite in a no wind area. I check each lighter before I box it w a cake so I've had to replace the new lighters w another purchase of different lighters/brand. Wasted my money 👎

Best little lighter that I keep handy! We use this to light candles, start fires in the fire pit, and just about anything we need a lighter for. I like that I can store it in small drawers and it isn’t like the super long ones that take up space.

I have been using Bic lighters since the late 80's. Lately I've been using the EZ Reach model. It has been disappointing in comparison to the original models. First the tank is smaller. Makes it a little slimmer in the pocket but with noticeably shorter lifespan. Second the electronic ignition sucks. Some lighters work pretty regularly however the majority that I have bought take multiple tries and a few work so infrequently that I've just thrown them away. With observable fuel in the tank. When they work, they are great for pipes. They have a more gentle flame than similar refillable butane lighters. Just make sure to alternate hands when using the new Bic Easy Reach lighters, unless you want very asymmetrical thumbs. Would be good resistance training for thumb wrestlers.

I used these to light my candles. They only lasted 5-7 uses but I'll still repurchase them because they are easier to light and safer.

Plenty of lighter fluid left but they won't light anymore. You can click the button 100 times and nothing happens. Waste of money. Going back to the old Bic.

The overall quality of the lighters are the reason I’m only rating this a so-so purchase. One of the large lighters was very hard to light (very stiff mechanism) and if it was windy forget it. I use these to burn trash and yard waste and after only using the lighter a handful of times I added it to the fire pit as well as it just would not light.

I really like these lighters. My problem is non refillable and the flame is too much and the butane tank is way too small.

I bought these lighters a month ago at a local store and they haven’t worked properly since the day I bought them. They now don’t work at all. You can flick them a several times and they might light, or not. The worst product BIC has ever made. Don’t buy these lighters.

Bought a regular bic lighter, lasted only 2 weeks. I’ve noticed that the past few months. There was a time when you bought a bic, it’d last over a month, pack a day smoker I know, and still have a little juice left, not 2025!
