this has been one of our favorite cups for the last year. doesn't leak, easy for our kid to drink. the straw part can be time consuming to clean but really not that big of a deal.

Straw can grow mold
We liked the cup at first. Cleaned it regularly. However, we recently found mold growing in the straw. I contacted Dr. Brown’s, but all they did was offer me the option to buy a new straw — they didn’t even comment on the fact that a baby item was growing mold.

Really unsure how this bottle is rated so highly or how anyone can say it doesn’t leak. It’s not marketed as leakproof but I expect a bottle to not drip milk EVERYWHERE while it just sits there open, not even being touched. It’s actually insane how much milk comes out of this straw when it’s literally just sitting there. I bought 2 of these and wish I never did

Soapy tastes and straw gets knocked loose
The function of this straw cup can be tricky, one minute it’s working and the next the straw part gets knocked loose and you can no longer get water out. As a parent I will take a sip to see if it’s working, however the daycares teachers can not do that so I can’t use this cup for daycares. Also I can NOT get this to NOT taste like soap. I even use free and clear soap. I’ve tried putting it in water that was boiling in the stove. No matter what it always tastes like soap.

I like that the cup comes with the removable silicone handles, but the straw tip of this cup leaks horribly. It makes an absolute mess. I know it’s not marketed as leak proof, but the amount of spilling is crazy for a cup designed for children who swing it around and send milk spewing everywhere
