The two non-motorized things you can build are kind of pointless because they don’t stay together if played with and no kid is putting this on display. As for the motorized vehicle: It’s cheap, does not stay together (tire treads pull the wheels off), and barely drives on a hard surface let alone any carpet! Good idea, but poor execution. But to be expected at $30 price point.

NOT compatible, poor quality, design problem. My kid didn't play with it.
I got this set to complement the other Discovery magnetic tiles, which my daughter really likes. However, the magnetic tiles of the different sets (same brand) are incompatible. The size & shape of the tiles are identical, but the magnets inside are installed with reversed polarity, so the tiles in this kit won't join to the tiles in the other set. Also, the wheel motor axle ripped out of the wheel almost immediately. Furthermore, the triangle pieces are nearly but not quite equilateral, so she put struggled getting it together, and it will kinda fit but not drive. Bottom line is that she doesn't play with it at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Discovery magnetic building tiles are awesome! My 10 yr old loves this set. She's built and taken apart many creations, some the package showed her and some she just built. You can control it with a remote control, which I think is awesome! It's not hard to put it together but it definitely makes you think while putting it together. It's a great stem toy, if your kids are into building things they will love the discovery sets!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m excited about this toy because it’s a toy that older kids can enjoy. I feel like most toys gear towards younger children. This toy your child can build the toy from the ground up. It’s great for engineering skills. They can also drive the car they build around. Also you can make multiple things. There’s a booklet with instructions on how to build each model. Great toy! Very sturdy. Not cheap at all. I highly recommend!

Worked good but hard to keep together
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and daughter did enjoy playing with this toy but it wasn’t honestly something that kept their interest for a long time. My son enjoyed building his creation but he is six and said it was hard as the tiles wouldn’t always stick together. My daughter who is nine said it worked fairly well and she didn’t have too much of an issue with the tiles. The toy really only drives well on hard floor, but that is the case for many of their remote control cars with smaller wheels. Overall it was an ok toy as they did enjoy putting it together the first time. After that they really haven’t played with it that much.

Fun for kids

He did need help from his dad to put together he had fun with building and playing with the different titles and making different things.

Endless hours of building fun

My child and I spent hours and hours building and rebuilding different things we came up with . This has many pieces . They are durable . It comes with a booklet that shows you how to connect pieces together . It has a remote control that allows you to use the remote feature to play with the toy you made . Really great imagination toy !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy really inspires you to be creative. It is so unique! I feel like the quality is really durable and my son will get alot of use out of it. My 7 year old son likes to build and rebuild with this set. It has so many building possibilities. It provides hours and hours of creative fun while inspiring him his imagination. It the perfect toy for him as he loves to build and I love that it makes him think and be creative.

Imagination fun!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have enjoyed our Discovery magnetic building tiles on a daily basis for weeks! The magnetic kit includes building tiles, tire treads and 2 power motors with a wireless remote control. There is also an instruction page on how to build 3 space vehicles. The instructions are picture based and not word based which was a little confusing at first. Trial and error was an easy way to navigate the picture instructions. Once we built the rocket, explorer and observer, we have had fun creating other vehicles and builds. We will definitely be adding more magnetic tiles to our collection! These are a fun way to use your imagination and have fun!

Fun STEM toy for kids!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old daughter and 5 year old son both loved this toy! They loved driving it around and making modifications to see if would go faster. The is a great introductory toy for anyone interested in STEM or robot building. Directions were terrible....very few words describing what to do, thankful for the pictures. Only one of the three models moved with the remote control.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Discover #Mindblown Remote Control Magnetic tiles are fun for the kids and are of nice quality. There are many different things they can make out these and the kids can really use their imagination while doing so. The instructions show you three different things they can make, There were a couple of steps that you really had to look close to figure out but it didn't take my 8 year old long to do so. My 4 year old could do simple building but it really should be for 6 and above like it is suggested. They were really excited that they could actually build a remote control vehicle all by themselves. You do need to make sure that you are really close to the object when using the remote control for it to move. Also the battery packs/motors are a little to heavy for the magnet tile to hold up but it still can be done. Still a great and fun set.

Love the STEM aspect of this, and it's simple enough for a 6 yr old to do on their own with a little oversight. It's also cool that there are 3 different designs because they can do the 2nd two completely independently once they get the hang of it. I have a feeling this is starting a collection for us!
