It’s excellent cup that maintains my coffee even when thee coffee was served a little cold.

I was hesitating to get this at first but after i decided to finally get it i love it so much!! my college dorm bans water boilers so this is a perfect loophole hehe

I love the mug and use it all day, everyday. Unfortunately I've had three and the charging coaster has quit working on all three. It is always the same issue. The mug is useless because it won't charge.

The cup is fine. The charging coaster only lasts a few months. I’ve had two, and both have stopped working (with the same issue). I don’t know how the ratings are so high. A quick internet search reveals that this a very widespread issue.

The charging base broke after 2 months. The small pin no longer has a spring force.

Call it 3.5 stars maybe. I am still using it a few years after it was gifted to me, and like it for its purpose. Pros: • Keep consistent temperature very well. • Nice fit and finish, good construction. • Battery lasts a respectable amount of time. Cons: • The charger-to-mug connection is two spring-loaded metal pins. One of these failed on my first charging puck, so I had to buy a replacement. Two issues: the spring can fail, so your mug doesn't charge (my issue), and since they're solid, physical contacts, it's theoretically possible to short them out with a spill or sufficient condensation (I typically wiped any condensation off mine regularly to avoid this). Other charging setups for modern devices that may get wet typically have electromagnetic transfer. • Cost is up there considering the cons and the competition (which I won't name).

My husband won this at work. It’s fine if you like extremely hot coffee, but I prefer mine hot without being scorching, as I have a sensitive palate. I wish it offered lower heat settings than 120°F. If it kept a consistent 100 or even 110 it would be perfect!

Terrible Product, the lid failed first and then it stopped charging. They make out like they will help but they do nothing

I received my mug as a Christmas gift. Loved it so much that I bought one for my husband. Enjoy having perfect temp coffee to the last drop. HOWEVER, they no longer charge. Tried all the hints, tricks and hacks to nudge them into charging without success. Sad that they oi longer work. Short life given that they were gently cared for.

My ember was a gift from my friend! I love it and use it every day!

I got my mug for Christmas 2024, and I really like it. However, the charging disc quit working after 4 months due to a design or quality flaw. Ember replaced it for free, but the second one has now quit working for the same reason. I know 2 other people with Ember mugs, and they have had the same issue. I don’t recommend this product. At least not until they fix the issue with the charging disc. The product is too expensive to have this serious of a flaw

Quit working after a short life span battery so t charge. Muvwill not operate o. Charges.

I use it almost daily. Works great! I have several ember cups!

This cup is just about perfect but for one thing: cleaning. I drink green tea and you cannot get the stains off with anything but bleach. It also heats the tea bag if left in which is annoying. Need a way of detaching the electrics so it can go in the dishwasher and be effectively cleaned.

I won this mug at work so I was taxed on the value. It worked for a few months and now it doesn’t charge. I come into the office after it has supposedly been charging all night, open my app and it says “empty” and to charge it. For as much as these things cost, they really should work for much longer than a few months

I own the large mug. It doesn’t hold a charge past one cup of coffee. Even after charging overnight. It’s not a year old.

Do not buy if you ever want it to connect to your phone. I have had this for about a year now. Its great in that it keeps my drink warm. Its garbage in that it will never connect to my phone. I have swapped phones in this time so I doubt its an issue with both phones. When I want to connect I need to delete the mug from the app then manually try to pair it, whilst this is happening open bluetooth settings and tell it to look for new devices, switch back to the app then hope it sees the mug. Its a roll of the dice as to wether it will connect or you need to keep trying. Looking at comments and feedback, this is a consistent issue that they have never solved despite releasing multiple new products.

charging plate is not fit for purpose. I'm now onto my second charging plate. The tiny little copper prongs don't spring up so you can't charge properly. This isn't once but twice and you can google other people complaining about the same thing and watch youtube videos on how to disassemble the plate and fix it and where to buy the tiny little copper prongs but honestly @Ember just sort this problem out. When the mug works it's great but I won't buy ember again

Great Cup! Wished it recharged faster especially in between cups of coffee.
