White Lines not visible

I've lived with this rug for a few weeks now. It is comfortable enough and has good height to the shag length. The problem I have with this rug is that the color is not at all what was advertised. While color widely various from screen to screen I assumed the contrast bewteen the lines and the base color of the rug would be as noticiable as it shows online. Unfortunately the rug is a very bright white/silver/gray color and it makes it very hard to see the white lines.

Plush stylish rug!

The rug is very soft, and the colors are cream and dark gray. It’s not a padded or cushy rug, but the soft shag texture is very comfortable to walk on.
