Waves are great
It worked well for waves, my hair held them really well without any product. The edge of the clip left a line in my hair no matter how I held it, but prob still user error. It did make my hair feel a bit crisp (used heat protectant), and whatever the coating for the color they put on it left a smell so I didn’t care much for the way it made my hair smell. Maybe wit more use it will wear off?

Great tool to add to the rotation
I have medium thickness hair thats slightly veering on the side of thicker rather than fine. my hair is chest length, and naturally wavy. my hair naturally has good waves on the mids to ends but falls flat randomly up top. I wanted something that'll help produce the waves I want without having to curl my whole head. this is perfect. it heats up quickly and does what it needs to do. I like that it came with a heat resistant glove. I've used it twice on my whole head just to see how it would turn out and its much quicker than using a curling iron on my whole head. you have to make sure youre using it in thin sections or the wave wont come through as well. overall for the price and the quality, this is my new favorite hair tool. it wont completely replace my curling irons but ive used them significantly less since purchasing this product.

Too heavy and bulky to hold
This gave more of a crimp look than waves. But the deal breaker was how big and bulky it was to hold. I’m in my 40s and have mild arthritis in my hands so it is hard to grip and squeeze this huge thing. I ended up returning and going with a TYMO mini waver which is easier to use and gives a deeper wave look.

Does NOT produce crimps; drying
For those with curlier hair, this is NOT what you want… this does not produce deep waves or even a somewhat good wave… it’s like it doesn’t even crimp it’s very weird. After the first try, I took it right back to target.

It was fun to try, but honestly, it gave the same result as just braiding your hair while wet. It does take forever to do your whole head. It’s fine, no complaints, just nothing to write home about.
