Cute but too difficulty for 7 year old. Would recommend for older children.

Many of the sections are too tiny to paint, making the experience a bit frustrating and tire some instead of entertaining and calming which is what I was going for.

This was a fun project to do! Definitely took some time. A little tedious but relaxing also. I would recommend this as a gift for someone! Teens or adults. Not geared for little kids. It turned out so nice I framed it!

I bought this kit for my five year old daughter. I would not recommend it for this age group, maybe 10 and up, because there are fine lines that young children may not have the patience for. However, I have taken this project over myself and it is highly therapeutic!! It helps me to unwind after a busy day and so I’ve worked on it over the past week. I love this brand of arts and crafts from Target so I’ll be purchasing their other paint by number kits for myself!

Very detailed. Bought for my 10 year old. I like that it’s taking time for her to finish and not a quick craft.

I love this. It's super cute and nice! I order this for birthday parties for my 7 year old. It's always a big hit! Definitely probably for ages 8-10 and up, but could still be good for an art-loving 6 or 7 year old. It was just a bit hard when my daughter was 6/young 7.

We wanted to do a paint by number night -and every other brand was twice as expeinsive. This is a quaility kit that comes with everythign you need!

I didn’t notice the instruction manual had the color map until I was basically done and this would be helpful to look at while painting since some of the areas were missing a number and/or unclear where one number started and another ended. Also, it’s helpful to have additional brushes. The one brush provided is not great and also too big to paint most of the tiny detailed spots. Some colors-usually the lighter ones are a thinner consistency than other and the number shows through unless you paint multiple layers. Otherwise, I had fun painting this.

The process is very easy and simple to follow. The canvas and paints are clearly marked. The end result is a gorgeous painting of a butterfly pair. This is also a number kit so make sure that you follow the numbers including the paint numbers, for the best outcome. I like how there is a wide variety of paint colors. You do have to assemble the canvas yourself. There is plenty of easy to follow instructions and visuals.
