2nd one we bought - however check to make sure the correct parts are included Our 2nd purchase we got TWO Left sides. Not wanting to deal with the return (box heavy & bulky) we decided to reverse the Side drilling the dowel holes to fit the back support boards in (the other predrilled holes worked the way they had been predrilled.

Assembly--> Design FAIL
The assembly on this bookcase was so egregious that we debated taking it back to Target... but my roommate opted to bust out his drill and extend some of the holes and create the missing ones. In addition, he had use the screwdriver bit on a socket wrench to install the back supports.

Picture only directions. Missing a washer and 2 screws. Screws that should have all been the same appeared to be two different kinds. Much more difficult to put together than other pieces of furniture I've assembled.

Appaling poor
This is an awful product. It came missing some of the hardware, and the instructions for assembly are scant. The design is poor - it is not possible to attach the brackets as indicated in the instructions, as the shelving blocks access to the screw points. To properly assemble this, one needs a drill for pilot holes - which are also missing. One also needs a two-sized philips head screwdriver. And last, I had toglue three support brackets back into place, as they had come unglued. Lack of decent instruction - check. Missing hardware - check. Parts unglued - check. I doubt this will last a month. 0 stars.

The item came fairly quickly and was boxed nicely. The instructions were worse than IKEA's. The material is not very well made and the paint was already chipped in some areas. Some holes needed to be drilled and were not already pre-drilled making it longer to put together. I would not recommend it. I bought the white one.

Very Poor Quality
I do not recommend this item. There are only a few pre-drilled holes and the rest of the screws you have to press really hard to get through the wood. I got the white color, and if it had more than 1 layer of white paint on it, I would be shocked. The two poles in the back were bowing out a bit and one of the corners wood split after putting one of the screws in. It is also very, very thin material and I would not recommend testing this with very much weight at all. This is worth about $10 on a good day. Do not buy.

Terrible
It was the design and height I was looking for so despite the reviews I decided to purchase it. I was disappointed in the paint job and cheapness of the “wood”. I thought I could spruce it up by painting it before I assembled it; I only made it worse. When I assembled it, it felt so cheap and fragile that I didn’t trust using it in my house. Save yourself the time and money— avoid this product.
