Looks good, but falls flat
I was initially excited to buy this bookcase because of its shape, color, weight capacity, and cheap price point. I figured, and accepted, that it was made of MDF. However, I did NOT expect that it would require glue - yes, GLUE - to assemble. You're not just hammering and screwing pieces together, you need to also glue those same pieces together to ensure they stick. This is extremely disappointing. I don't even think IKEA falls to that low level of quality. And what's worse, this bookcase does not even stand up straight. Due to its construction, and most likely its shape, it slants backwards unless propped up against a wall. How freaking embarrassing.

Perfect for playroom
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This of cube storage are perfect for the kids playroom. It took me about an hour to put together. The directions are easy to read but it’s a bit difficult putting it together without assistance. I purchased cloth bins to go with it and it’s holding up really nicely even though my kids can be a bit hard on furniture!

This is an excellent product once finished building and you can see how nice the quality is. It took a little over an hour to assemble and was simple enough but we did need a mallet and some clamps in addition to the recommended tools.

Quality Construction
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves her new storage option. The white looks good in a room of pink and purple. I like that it was easy to assemble. My only complaint is that on carpet this piece is a little wobbly. Luckily I was able to put it right against the wall and I feel a little better about its stability. The lip at the back of the shelves is great for many reasons. The most obvious is that things are not likely to fall behind. It does make it a little harder to find storage cubes to fit.

Excellent Addition to Family Room

It was very easy to assemble, contained all of the required tools and is very sturdy. I really like the back support because I can place books and other items and not worry about them toppling over.
