Loud and uncomfortable
They did help with impact when running, but were not very comfortable outside of the impact support. They lessened the ground feel on some shoes with firmer foams in the outsole. They are so thick that they ruined the heel lock and lock down on my shoes. They are so loud, the squeak is too loud.

feels good as far as arch support (not too much) & heel cushioning (about right amount), but forefoot could use a little more cushion. Toe area very narrow, which works for some of my shoes but not so good with wide toe box styles.

Worked well with my boots
These are good. Bought them for my boots. The outsoles of the boots sucked and created a lot of stress impact on my knees. These insoles made a huge difference. Definitely feel the shock absorbing effect.

High hopes
Easy to trim. Fit great in my running shoes. But my feet ached. I didn't have the relief i hoped for. Had to return. They're not for me.

Better than spending $90 at a Roadrunner Shoe store for an insert. These work just as fine. The store charges that much because "they are customized" to each of the persons foot.

Great insert, wasteful packaging.
I used the mens athletic series running inserts size 7-10 before they became virtually unobtainable. Those inserts saved my feet from plantar fasciitis and enabled me to continue to run. The price on the original version was very reasonable. I have several of those inserts to date and compared them to this new version. I literally see no difference besides the label “size to fit” which I feel is a gimmick and the elaborate box they come in. There is just no reason for the elaborate box. The new version is as good as the old however the price tag has doubled. Love the insert as I’m sure many other do but the price is way to high. I feel the higher price could be lowered with a change in packaging. The new packaging is just wastefulness.

Great insoles!
These are awesome! I am preparing for a hiking/walking trip and was getting shin splints from my walks. I have flat feet too. I have tried a couple of other types that didn’t help much. I purchased these hoping they would be better, and they are! They have helped the pain related to both my flat feet and the shin splints. I also love the padding they provide, it makes them cushy too. Highly recommend!!

I prefer Dr Scholl's to other brands and even office made orthotics or inserts as they are soft except where they need to be hard in the arch itself. They are also a better value

Did not match my foot's arch.
The sole fit nicely into my running shoe and had a good cushioning however the arch was set back to far and did not align with my natural arch. Furthermore, the heel is lifted too high and if makes the ankle come out too far up from the shoe which makes the shoe less secure on the foot.
