Canvas Hanging File Organizer with Lid Black - Brightroom™

Quality is good and it looks nice but like everyone else says it doesn’t fit file folders which is its entire purpose. To help anyone in this situation, I tried hammering the rails outward a bit and it actually did the trick and now my files slide perfectly. Ridiculous to have to do that but hope it helps.

Too small for standard hanging files

Great product! I like the color of this organizer. More pricier than the Bankers box but thanks to this, my home office looks nicer than before.

Sturdy and good material. Spacious as well.

They're cute and sturdy but I've tried four different brands of hanging file folders and they're all too wide. The metal bars in this box are just slightly too narrow to be useful. So frustrating, will be returning.

I love the look of these but standard hanging files do not fit in these boxes. I didn't have time to return/look for another box so I just trimmed the sides of my hanging files and they fit. Super bummed that I had to do this, though.

This is my second one, being a replacement for my first order. Both of them do not fit a standard hanging file folder. The area is too tight. I love the color and the style, but there is definitely something wrong with the inside measurements of the support bars. Plus the second one also came with red colored marks on. I’m disappointed for the second time. Never had this problem before.

I love the style and simplicity of this file organizer, that’s why I was originally attracted to it. Sadly, normal sized hanging files are just the slightest bit too big to fit in the box which kind of defeats the purpose. I returned the item.

I was so excited to have a sleek way to organize my teaching materials and come to find out, the bars inside are too close together. I tried to hang the file folders and I had to squeeze them in. Really frustrating. Have to return.

I bought this like 90 days ago. Just getting around to organizing some papers and to my surprise this product is completely useless to hang file folders unless you want to hang one at an angle. It seems really sturdy but unfortunately the measurements are off and unable to accommodate letter sized folders. Thankfully I can still return this product.

Item arrived filthy and scratched. I did not save the box to mail back the return- such a pain. I ordered this online because all of the ones in store were dirty and scratched too. These were all mishandled.

The first one I received was filthy (delivered from the store), I liked the look so I ordered 8, but I just tried them out and they don’t fit the letter sized hanging file folders, the bars too close together so you have to force a file in and they don’t slide. I just unboxed them all and now I need to return them.

Wish I would’ve read reviews before buying. The box itself is really nice and sturdy. But, letter size hanging folders don’t fit.

It looks great and feels extremely sturdy compared to other fiber board hanging file boxes I've seen, but has a completely fatal flaw - the hanging rails are *JUST BARELY* too close together to hang a normal letter-size file folder. You can *SQUEEZE* a hanging file folder down onto the rail, but it's so pinched that it can't move. My pictures demonstrate this - where it looks normal, it's so pinched it can't move - it only fits correctly when the folder is at an extreme angle to the rails. If you never want to actually use this regularly but only store files long term, maybe you'll find it acceptable, but even with intermittent use this drives me crazy immediately.

The quality and function match the price point

Loving this to keep my sons paint supplies tucked away. It’s sturdy, durable construction. You can stack them up, if needed. I like keeping clutter hidden. It helps keep things organized and calm. Love that there is a label holder too.

I ordered this item online because the ones at the store were stained. The one I received was far worse. Will be returning and purchasing elsewhere.

The box itself is fine. It looks stylish enough and I think it seems pretty sturdy. The material is hard. It’s not like some other fabric boxes that bend. However, the main problem I have with the box is that the size is misleading. From the dimensions of the box listed, I thought it would fit legal size file folders and it does not. Confusingly, the bar that the folders hang from inside of the box is not at the edge of the box. It’s a few inches further inside. So, the box actually fits letter size hanging file folders, not legal size. It would be REALLY NICE if the makers of the box would put this EXTREMELY IMPORTANT detail anywhere in the description or if they would include product pictures that actually show the inside of the box. Again, these are important details that are not included anywhere. I decided to do the manufacturer’s job for them and include pictures of the inside of the box in my review so other customers can see where the hanging bars are before buying this. I will probably be returning mine since it won’t fit most of my folders.
