  • A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about Fitbit Inspire 3 Activity Tracker. Yes — the Fitbit Inspire 3 can absolutely be used as a vibrating (silent) alarm for someone who’s deaf. Here’s how and what to expect, based on Fitbit’s official documentation and user experience. ✅ Why the Fitbit Inspire 3 works well as a vibrating alarm 🔔 Silent (vibration-only) alarms The Fitbit Inspire 3 uses vibration (haptic feedback) instead of sound when an alarm goes off. There is no audible alarm, which makes it suitable for users who are deaf or hard of hearing. The device vibrates on your wrist until you dismiss or snooze the alarm. Worst Fitbit Ever

Just awful! I bought this 6 days ago and the ONLY good thing is battery life. HR, Zone minutes and steps are all wildly inaccurate. HR showed 165 during a yoga class, actual HR was around 70. While resting another day I got a low HR warning of 36 (!) when the device itself displayed 70. Actual HR was 60. Zone minutes don't make sense at all. I have all the data from my old FBs and do the same workouts. Inspire shows zone minutes that are almost 2X what they have been for years. Of course, because the HR is so incorrect, it shows I'm working harder than I actually am. That means calories are way off as well. Step count is at least 50-75% too high. I didn't walk anywhere close to16,000 steps yesterday. AND it counts steps while I'm asleep and sleep mode is turned on. I did a hardware upgrade and restarted the device but nothing changes. I have used many Fitbit models over at least10 years and downgraded from a 2 year old Charge 6 because the battery would only hold a charge for less than 24 hours. I didn't use all the modes on the Charge so I opted for the simpler Inspire. Total waste of money. So, basically it is useless for everything I want it to do. Better to just keep charging my Charge 6 every day.

Hi there. We hear your concerns regarding the heart rate, zone minute, and step count inaccuracies on the Inspire 3. To ensure you're getting the best data, try these tips: 1. For heart rate: Ensure the device is worn 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone during workouts, as movement can affect readings. A snug, but not too tight, fit is key. 2. For step tracking: Confirm your height settings are accurate in the Fitbit app, as this helps the device calculate your stride length. Also, ensure your "Wrist" setting (dominant vs. non-dominant) is correctly selected. 3. Restarting: Since you've already tried a restart, please ensure the device firmware is fully updated in the Fitbit app. If these steps don't work, we'd like to look into this further with you. Useless after 5 months of use

I really wanted to love this. The price seemed decent. 5 months in? The screen is buggy. I need to tap, swipe etc multiple times before it will come up and sometimes it won’t even if it’s fully charged. The stats aren’t always accurate. I’m disappointed that I wasted $99 on this. See photo. Photo was taken on 5/5/26. I wore it today. See the date it’s displaying? Splurge and get an Apple Watch instead

Quickly see the time and date, battery last over a week wearing 24/7, better than checking your phone for the time. Very comfortable to wear. Multiple user interfaces. Added benefit is tracking your sleep rhythems.

Such a Disappointment

What a waste of technology. I have had a Fitbit Luxe for about the last 8 years, and they no longer make it, so i purchased the Inspire 3, since the reviews said the battery was bigger, better, and held a charge for 7+ days. With in a month the charge lasted maybe 2 days. The dial would flash on and off at night with no movement. It struggled with timezone changes. Just a waste and useless. Don’t buy.

Screen never works and you have to let it fully die to do a hard reset. Do your research because they just pushed this to the consumer before making sure it works.

Absolute Piece of Junk

Watch did not charge upon initially taking out of the box. Setup and interface via forced Google integration is a hot mess. Immediately took this piece of junk back and purchased a Blip 6, which is significantly better quality for less price.

lower quality than past versions

I've owned two Fitbits before this Fitbit, and wow, can I say they downgraded the quality on the band and connectors? compared to the Fitbit luxe, this is a serious step down. It feels way cheaper. Unfortunately, they don't make the luxe anymore. After this purchase, this is the last Fitbit I'm buying. Whatever they did when they changed ownership or what not, the choices they made were downgrades. I bought a Fitbit because I liked how it was and I liked how it felt like good quality product, and I could buy bands to dress it up. This feels like a plastic band with a plastic clasp with attachment pieces that are more difficult to use. What a shame. Moving on to a Google watch next because I won't buy this again.

Sadly, mine didnt last a year

I really loved this when I first got it, but to get the full benefits you have to pay for an annual subscription. By the time the choice to renew came for my second year, my watch had stopped working reliably. It stopped giving me notifications and syncing to my phone. It also is considered an older model so bug glitches aren’t fixed. My favorite screen style had a bug that made it not usable and wasn’t fixed for months— from early 2025 to when I’m writing this review in January 2026. Also, the options to swap out the watch band are limited because Fitbit considers this an older model unfortunately, and off-brand sellers are limited and not reliable. It had a lot of potential but after almost a year I had to stop using mine. :(

Target sold open box item with missing piece

After getting item from drive up, it was clear the box had been opened and returned before. I wouldn't have minded except the strap was missing the little piece that holds it down while wearing the watch. Getting another one shipped, hopefully it's in good shape or I'll have to return both. After looking at other reviews, seems many others have arrived in bad condition so fingers crossed. If Target wants to sell this particular item again, maybe it should be at a discount since the customer would need to buy a replacement strap.

Do not recommend

Whoever designed the clasps of attaching the straps on and off the device must have had long nails, a magnifying glass, and small fingers. It is terrible trying to twist the tiny less than 1 mm ball on each strap to disconnect it and then trying to get them back on where you squeeze, push, and connect just right is even more maddening. If you have arthritis, older, don’t have long nails, or need glasses to see, I recommend going with a different manufacturer as it seems all the newer fitbit models have this clasp setup. I have owned Fitbits for several years and I was unable to switch out the straps on this newer model so completely unusable.

Best slim tracker for small wrist

This is my third fitbit. Had garmin in between, but i can't get over how big they are. I started wearing this one on my inner wrist and that has been a gamechanger. It detects my heartrate much better and I can wear it all day and night. Also, it counts the miles ran on the treadmill more precise than Garmin, which is because I do run/walk/run probablly. The only thing I miss from my previous Fitbit Luxe is the magnetic charger. Inspire 3 has a clip type charget which is kind of strange - hopefully the snaps won't break in the coming years. This is the best small tracker if you like slim design and I'm very happy I got this during Black Friday :)
