IGK Big Time Volume and Thickening Hair Mousse - 6.2oz - Ulta Beauty

This IGK mousse has a light, airy texture, but unfortunately that light, airy feeling did not translate to my hair. It actually seemed to weigh my hair down. I only used a small amount, but instead of volume, I had flat hair.

I love this mousse! It's given me the best volume out of many products I've tried on my fine curly hair. I would have given 5 stars if the scent of the product was better or not as strong. It smells like black pepper.

This product does the OPPOSITE of what it claims. It does not add thickness or volume. What it did to my hair was coat it with a tacky, sticky layer that made my hair look flat and dirty. Thanks to Ulta's fair return policy, I was able to return this horrible product for a refund.

It gives my hair amazing volume and looks very full ans healthy, however my hair feels slightly sticky/like the product left a residue. I feel the pros still outweigh the cons but if you're sensitive to the texture/feeling of your hair Id try another product.

This mousse left my hair heavy and felt sticky even though I used a small amount. I don't recommend. I do recommend Redken Big Blowout if you want tons of volume, shine and no product feel.

I have extremely fine, flat hair; its medium length, am over 45 years old and live in Okla. (the humidity gets really high in this state). I have used just about everything under the sun to add some lift and body to my hair. This mousse is the only styling product I have found that actually works for me. My hair tends to get oily on its own, so I have to be on the lookout for volumizers that do not contain ingredients that are used to add shine (shine = greasy hair for me). I have to use this product sparingly on towel dried hair. Barely a quarter size dollop and I concentrate on my roots. After styling with the blow dryer, it gives me as much lift as possible for my type of hair. If I use too much of this product it can make my hair heavy and greasy looking. It works best when it's used properly. Don't overdo it on the amount, start small and work your way up if you decide to try it. I highly recommend this mousse for fine, flat hair types. The scent is a HUGE plus! It smells amazing!!!

I have thin long hair and this gives me just the right amount of volume. I've tried other products and i just love Big Time. My daughter even likes it that she keeps borrowing mine lol

I used to get it from my salon and they discontinued it. I love this product and am so happy that I can now by it via retail!

This did not give me volume and it made my hair greasy.

Not as much volume as I’d like or expected. Although it does leave my hair shiny & frizz free. No crunchy feeling which is a good thing. I find I still need to use the “pick me up” for volume.

Loved it when it was used in the salon and equally pleased with it at home.

I love the way my hair looks once it’s dry (either by blow drying or air drying).

It came very watery. Even after shaking. It’s watery and very sticky.

Didn't weigh my hair down and gave it lots of volume

not really happy with the products. I bought two different things from you guys did exactly what you say to do and I see no results. Very disappointed.
