A: Thanks for your interest in our TRES Two Extra Hold Hair Mousse. It is formulated to be used in conjunction with a blow dryer but we do not recommend applying to direct heat like curling irons or straighteners.

After both my mother and myself trying this hairspray for a few weeks, we both fell in love. Compared to other brands we've both tried in the past, this one is by far the best hairspray we've tried so far. It last much longer, it smells better, it doesn't leave a greasy film on our hair and the can holds a lot of hairspray inside. My mother uses hairspray every single day for her bangs, and has been since she was very young. We both typically gravitate towards lower priced brands, but after trying this product; we now are changing to this brand. Highly recommended! The only issue I had with this product is that it leaves a white cast if your hair isn't going to stay still. It has a great smell and the packaging is perfect. Maybe this just isn't a movement spray.

TRESemme has long been an affordable quality brand, and it is definitely one to consider. The hold level here is 4/5. It locks hair in place, takes the flyaways, but doesn't make hair overly crunchy. Use too much though and you may have too heavy of a hold. The can has a generous amount and the spray delivers an even mist. For the price, this is a great hairspray. I like to keep it on hand, when my primary focus is on style hold (vs styling, heat protection, etc).

Also another thing that I really like is that when you wash your hair it's very easy to remove.

I was incredibly pleased to see a full sized arisol hairspray. It has a pleasant scent to it. I really liked that it didn't make my hair hard or crunchy. I love doing this style despite my hair falling flat within a few hours. I did my usual thing but this time, I styled my edgy bob cut with Tresemme Extra Hold Hairspray in Hold Level 4. My fine roots and hair didn't fall flat at all. At first, I was was worried that the hairspray was going to be sticky because it has a spritz feeling while still wet. However, the spray really surprised me because it dried softly in a few more seconds after I sprayed it. There wasn't any powdered residue. It smells really good,too! This hairspray kept my style up from early morning through the evening and my curls didn't revert. It was easy to wash out as well! I really like this hairspray!

Ugh! Another hairspray bites the dust. I’ve been a loyal customer for almost 30 years and that ends today. Tresemme changed the formula of their hairspray and it’s absolutely wretched. The spray is a weird consistency, so it spits and sputters out of the nozzle, this has happened with several cans so I know that it’s not a nozzle issue. It smells terrible and that’s an understatement, It literally has a slight smell of vomit. It feels like glue on your hair, it’s gummy, it’s stiff to fault, it feels awful, And it leaves white flecks stuck in your hair that even regular shampoo will not remove. You’ll have to wash your hair multiple times to get those white specks off your hair. All three cans I purchased went into the trashcan. Recently, another brand that my sister used did the same thing. I’m assuming you had to do change the formula because of the environmental issues or health issues that apparently hairspray causes. It’s a shame that you couldn’t make a superior product even Having to follow new regulations. You lost a customer.
