Gain Original Ultra Liquid Dish Soap - 90 fl oz

I love the smell of the Gain original dishwasher soap, it cleans my dishes really effectively, I've also used it as a pretreatment on my laundry. It doesn't take much making it a great value for the money

It’s great price but it over drys hands after using it a few days, especially during winter time, but it does clean the dishes really good but due to the drying of the hands is why I give it four stars

I've been using Gain dish detergent for years, so I can easily tell when it's been changed. And ... it's been changed! It says "Original scent," and maybe that's true. But what was once a welcome feature has now been wildly amplified into an unwelcome intrusion. The scent of the product that came in the bottle I just bought is so overwhelming and powerful I'm going to throw it away. It gets on my hands ... and stays on my skin. It lingers in the air ... and stays there. When you walk into the kitchen the next morning and still smell it, that's a no-go. Gain is a guest in my kitchen when I do my dishes. When dishes are done, I expect Gain and its scent to GO. It doesn't. As a note, this is a frustrating thing that so many manufacturers are doing: Taking a scent that you've like for years and ruining it: Ruining it with a "fresh new scent!" that is some yucky overstrong stale/sour/fruity thing (Johnson Baby Shampoo, SoftSoap Aloe). They take a product you've liked for years and turn it into one of those people who wear way too much sicky-sweet perfume. No thanks. The new bottle of Gain is going in the trash, and I'll have to buy some store brand with a gentle scent that elbow me in the nose at dishwashing time.

I live in Quebec. Sadly i can no longer find this dish detergent. I literally drive 1.5 hours to get a few bottles. Not only it is highly effective, it also smells heavenly. Put on a little music, fill your sink and doing dishes becomes therapeutic.

I use gain detergent so I was intrigued to try this dish soap. This is now my favorite dish soap to use. It cleans dishes, it is affordable, and it smells great. It doesn’t smell exactly like the laundry detergent so it isn’t odd, the smell is pleasant!

I enjoyed the scent but it was just too strong for me. It seemed to also linger in cups after washing and rinsing. My 3 year old even would say her drink tasted soapy. Cleans really well and is really great for the price but the scent is a bit strong.

Does not latcher or remove grease. Need a lot just to make dishes feel kinda of clean. Smell is okay, strong.

I liked this dish soap by Gain. It has a pretty good smell, is a great value and is not a bad degreaser. The soap itself works pretty well, and leaves my dishes looking and smelling clean

My recent experience: This week as I proceeded to wash the dishes,as I need to everyday or they would never get done,I really didn't pay attention to the new bottle of dish detergent as I got started. The usual routine of a squirt of detergent,followed by filling the sink with water. While waiting for the sink to fill I like to look out the kitchen window.....All of a sudden:POW!!!! A Wonderful fragrance hits me. It gave me a burst of energy and motivation to get through this daily chore in a better mood. This was a great idea!! I've read some of the reviews and I understand there are some people who are sensitive to scents,but the flip side of that is that there are plenty of people who are fragrance monsters and love good scents. I think it is a great product and look forward to that fresh scent every morning when I do the dishes.

This product is great but my whole order was just tossed into the box. One of the dish soaps got the cap smashed in pretty bad, if everything hadn't been in individual plastic bags I would have just returned the whole mess to my local Target as it was.
