Design is Key
My 12 outlet works great. The configuration makes it possible to plug different type. Plugs and arrange them without any trouble. Love the design and the 4320 joules ought to give me the protection I need on the gulf coast. Power isn't as solid as it used to be here , sadly

Thought It Would Perform Better Than It Did
I purchased this surge protector specifically for its listed RFI/EMI filtering, believing it would work both ways, as my AFCI/GFCI breaker was tripping occasionally from my home theater setup. Well, I was so wrong. Instead of preventing trips, this surge protector was allowing trips once a week - totally unacceptable, so it's been moved to extension cord duty.

For the home theater components, we recommend a line conditioner, such as the LC1200: https://tripplite.eaton.com/1200w-120v-power-conditioner-automatic-voltage-regulation-avr-ac-surge-protection-4-outlets~LC1200

I use this product for my laptop, phone and fitness watch charger. It is a great product and I plan on buying more for other areas in the house.

Great value
I use this SP for a variety of equipment I keep on my desk. I like the low profile of the device, it makes it mostly non-intrusive. As for what could be better, the one thing I would change is the distance from the center row of sockets to the side sockets. Another 1/4 - 1/2" would allow for even the bulkiest of transformer plugs to be used without impeding the space needed to use the center row of sockets.

Quality and confidence
I bought several of these for use in various rooms in my home. They are the perfect size and have all of the features I wanted to protect my devices and appliances. I have always trusted this company, so it was easy for me to feel confident that these surge protectors would perform as promised. You can really tell that the build quality is better than cheaper brands.

Solid surge protector
Bought the surge protector to protect my computer system (computer, monitor, printer), modem, and router. It has a lot of nice features: USB port, cable, phone protection. My downgrade is the cable in/out is not labeled as my previous surge protector was. Nothing in instructions so I used previous one as a guide to connect cable connection to my modem.

Protect your electronics or you may regret it later!
Replaced my old surge protector on our new 70" TV. We live in Central Florida which is often the Lighting Capital of the USA. We've had many friends lose electronics due to lightning strikes. One neighbor's house was set afire! All our electronics are protected by surge protectors and are replaced every 5-Years. The layout of the plugs on this unit allows us to plug in all the ancillary equipment we have with our electronics especially the transformers that many electronics use today. Tripp Lite is my go to unit for surge protectors with their plug layout and high joules protection.

Thank you for your feedback on Eaton's Tripp Lite series surge protectors. Yes, we can say with first-hand knowledge that central Florida's lightning is nothing to play around with! We do appreciate your business and continued support.

Lightning Protection
I purchased this outlet surge protector because we have had two lightning strikes on our yard in the past month. Each strike took out a palm tree, damaging our landscape lights, Wi-Fi routers, pool controller, and hot water heater. No other home appliances were damaged but our electrician recommended that we replace our surge protector to ensure our entertainment system was fully protected. He also recommended we run our high speed internet connection through the surge protector to keep our router from being damaged. So far, everything is working well and the surge protector has not appreciably slowed our internet speeds.

Good value
Half of the outlets are well spaced for larger plugs, the other half are compressed to fit multiple normal sized plugs as well. A couple USB ports for anyone with this hidden behind their couch. Insurance seems alright, so long as they actually pay out in the event of their surge protector failing. Slim and included an ample length power cable. Have yet to encounter a surge, but so far it seems nice.

Excellent, reliable surge protector
I literally just had a power outage. It keeps my expensive computer equipment safe and I have so much peace of mind knowing that I am protected against the unknown. Also the two USB ports are a great addition.

Tripp Lite is best for power protection
Several years ago, the first Tripp Lite surge suppressor I used had 6-outlets and a steel case. I purchased one for home use and wasn't sorry. Tripp Lite products are quality made and unlike some other brands come with long power cords and several protected outlets. Tripp Lite is the only brand I buy.

Best bang for the buck!
Great unit. Slim design and light weight. Having 4320 joules is what sold me. That's outstanding protection at a very reasonable price! As well with two USB ports makes this a winner!

Probably the safest surge protector on the market under $50
Got this to protect some sensitive electronics I'd recently purchased, and have no complaints. I especially like how it'll disable itself one it's no longer able to provide protection, since that was a concern I'd had about surge protectors before doing research. It offers plenty of room for various plugs and configurations, though I wish Tripp-Lite offered more models with this level of protection (especially for smaller spaces and with extra USB/USB-C ports) but this works perfectly for most applications.

Great Surge Protector!
I use this as the cornerstone of my entertainment setup. I use it to power my TV, PS5, AppleTV, home theater receiver, and cable modem/router. I haven't had to use the insurance yet but I'm glad to know it's there.

Sturdy, versatile, and well priced
Love the indication lights for it being grounded and protected. It's got a ton of sockets, usb ports, and other inputs I'll probably never end up needing, and the price was pretty good. It's worth the peace of mind, as about 50% of my net worth is ultimately plugged into this surge protector in the form of expensive electronics.
