Q: The description says 1200 to 1500 square foot coverage but then in the details it says 549 sq. ft. What’s the ideal size room for this device?

A: The Everest Air has an effective range of 549 ft² based on 5 air changes per hour (ACH). When the ACH is 5, the purifier filters the air in the room five times an hour (or once every 12 minutes). The same air purifier can also clean a 1,373-square-foot room, but it may take longer to clean the air. The unit simply has to be left running for a bit longer for a larger room size. The air purifier is effective for larger rooms, but air purification will take longer, with fewer air changes per hour. For more information, please contact our support team directly.

Q: Do I need wifi or the internet to be able to use this air purifier?

A: You can operate the unit without connecting it to the VeSync app by manually controlling it using the buttons on the display. However, please be aware that some features are only accessible through the app.

Q: Is this a mechanical and ozone free air filter? Do I have to use a device to operate like Google or Alexa?

A: Aside from the PlasmaPro 200S, 400s, and 600S models (which have an optional plasma function), all Levoit air purifiers are ozone-free and do not produce ions. They work purely mechanically by drawing in air and filtering it through our 3-stage filtration system.

Lasted 6 months before it started making a horrible noise and the warranty is garbage if you expect to get the same item you bought they send you whatever color they want to send you and you'll be going back and forth with customer service to deal with the situation for weeks. They offered $30 for this inconvenience that my color is out of stock ...when this unit is worth $500! Shocking customer service help.

Love this air purifier !
We purchased this air purifier because we live in the desert and figured we probably could use some help cleaning the dusty air in the house. First of all, this one does take up a bit of space and it needs some space behind it (so not backed up to a wall or curtains) which kind of makes it an eye sore but I like the display screen that shows mean the percentage of clean air. There is an auto feature which can change the speed as it sees fit according to the percentage on the screen. It actually blows out kind of cool air which is nice in this summer heat. It helped us to be sure that our air purifier was making the air quality worse in our home (which we thought was true but this confirmed it). You can change the direction of the airflow it pushes out. If you need to clean air in a room faster, there is a turbo mode which is a little loud but speeds up the process. The other modes are not obnoxiously loud and we leave ours running most of the day. I also love the washable pre-filter which will help extend the life of the actually filter. You can connect to the app as well and see the air quality and make changes from there which is nice.
