Lysol laundry sanitizer’s active ingredients are quaternary ammonium compounds, which would likely be rendered ineffective by the lower pH created by the citric acid in this product. Basically they cancel each out. FYI, the quat disinfectants in Lysol’s product aren’t super great for the environment and at high concentrations, they may pose some health risks (mostly skin and lung irritation, but in mice, high doses are associated with other health issues. But people aren’t mice, and the dose makes the poison, so it’s probably fine when used at directed), but still, if this citric acid rinse gets you the same results, it’s probably a better option.
