Works great as a straightener but terrible as a curling iron. Maybe my hair isn’t thick enough but as soon as I’d try to turn it to curl, my hair would fall right out. I plan on returning and purchasing a cheaper regular straightener.

Would not recommend! I used this product didn’t like it. The covers get to hot when I try to use. I had in my truck for a week. When I returned they asked if I had just used it. I said no, the box and product was hot! It was cold that day. So reason why it should be hot. We both got scared and just thought it would have been a terrible situation if it was still in my car getting hot! Just being inside the box and not connected! So weird!!

Why isn’t there a spring in this like every other curling iron in the market so it closes and you can actually use the thing? What a terrible product, zero research had to be put into this. It’s unusable. There are better combo products out there. I have a great travel straightening curling combo and will purchase another one for everyday use.

I think a regular straightener does the trick. I wanted to love it because it seemed like a great idea but it’s complicated to use for the curling portion and it’s just heavy. Not my fave but idk maybe I’m using it wrong.

Complete Waste of Money – Horrible Performance
I have extremely manageable long hair, and this two-in-one straightener and curling iron is absolutely useless. The plates don’t stay in place, and every time I tried to curl, it ripped out chunks of my hair. It does not curl *at all*. I had to crank the heat all the way up, and even then, my hair just ended up burning without holding a decent curl. It literally left my hair feeling fried, with no results. This product is a complete piece of junk. Save yourself the trouble and don’t waste your money!

Awful dont waste your time
If I could do 0 I would. This is awful. The plates don’t meet so when you go to turn the plates over to curl your hair it just falls out, there is about 1/4” at the top where they kind of meet if you really put pressure clamping it, unfortunately there is another gap with the plates on the flat iron itself and it ripped a huge chunk of my hair out. Also the slider plates that go over the barrel if you apply any pressure to them they begin to slide Al around, I almost burned my hand. Normally I’m not picky but omg was this an awful product I’m returning it immediately.

I wanted to like this tool but I just can’t deal with it. The locking mechanism doesn’t stay put. It doesn’t get tight enough to actually straighten hair whether it’s short or long. It gets hot quickly though.

Not good at straightning or curling
The one flat hair iron and curler is not good at either of the styles in its name. The plates don’t close tight enough to straighten hair efficiently or to hold hair in place while curling. I wanted to like this because I am terrible at using a curling iron but can handle a flat iron pretty well. I hoped it would help me add some curl/wave to my medium length hair using a tool I’m familiar with, but it falls short.
