AWFUL
This is the worst cereal I've ever tasted. It tastes like chemicals and leaves a very silky feeling on your tongue. It takes forever to break down and it stays rock hard. Oh and the stevia taste sticks around. Would give -50 stars if I could. I see now why a serving is only 1/2 cup-- probably because you can't tolerate more than that at a time. I made it through 2 bites and threw it out.

Another good thing has come to an end
I used to love this cereal and ate it about 5 days a week. They had cracked the code of how to make a cereal healthy AND delicious. But this last batch I bought is gross, so I guess now it's lumped in the same category as all the other bad-tasting protein cereals out there. I'm sad that they changed it.

Everything is worse now
Used to be a staple, and then very quietly (secretly?) the calories went up and other key macros like fiber got worse. The photos on the website also continued to show incorrect info. Will be finding alternatives as soon as we are done with current batch.

New recipe sucks for consumers
Change it back to the previous recipe with 110 calories. That plus the high protein and fiber is why we buy the product. The new formula with more calories, less fiber and same protein content is worse and the taste difference is not substantial enough to warrant any change.

I purchased this last week. I'm very impressed that it doesn't get soggy! I avoid many cereals because of that, along with sugar, and tasty. This exceeded my expectations. My experience was amazing. I will purchase more.

I am so sad about the recipe change! Not sure why they changed the reason most people bought this cereal. Bad macros now and honestly tastes the same as before. It was perfect and now I will not be purchasing again.

Bring back the old recipe!
I used to love this cereal and didn't mind the higher price because it was so tasty and loved the ingredients but the new recipe is horrible- Smaller, pale, and tastes like burnt cardboard and the new recipe's nutrition facts are just like any other cereal. Won't be buying anymore unless it goes back to the original recipe. The difference is actually crazy- attached is a photo of the two different recipes.. left is the original and right is the new version.

Gotta say I just saw this CatalinaCrunch cereal and so thankful for everyone’s honest reviews…Companies go into business to make a good consumer product and when they do it right; they should be happy. NOPE! Now everyone says Catalina has changed the ingredients and the taste is dreadful. THANK YOU!! YOU saved me my money!! Your Loss Catalina!
