Q: How large is the actual opening? I am thinking to use this for cat litter disposal, and wonder what size scoop would be able to push open the flap to dump clumps into bag.

    Haven't tried it yet but...

    I just set the refill but the instructions were not that clear and I removed the plastic square instead of the thin one around it. There is no way to fix it now I think
