I bought the 40 can cooler a couple weeks ago for an upcoming beach trip and I’m not as impressed as I could be. The overall quality is good, but after filling the cooler and attempting to zip it, the zipper pull cracked in half and then cracked the remaining piece off after another attempt. This is after lubricating the zipper as instructed. I’m chalking it up to it maybe being dry rotted and have sent RTIC an email. When lifting the cooler by the side handles, they seemed to sag quite a bit when lifting but didn’t rip. The size is great and the ice retention is as advertised when properly pre-cooling, so no issues there. I’m hoping the company will reach back out about the zipper.

Well I purchased for a long road trip and to keep drinks cooler for softball season. I have used altogether since April -for one road trip, 3 games and one camping trip and it’s ripped already!!!! The zipper and completely come apart at the end, I am highly disappointed. I bought this brand because it was highly rated and I’m kinda confused why? I put no wear on it at all a total 5times, 5!!!!. Now it will never hold cold long and definitely won’t be water proofed…the size was dissatisfied as well once you put ice packs in there is no way I could put a 12 pack in let alone a 30pack!
