submitted byChris B - 11 months agoA: On average, the kettle will be triggered to reboil the water once it has cooled 15 degrees below the temperature it was set to. For the higher boiling temperatures (ex: 212°F – Black Tea), Keep Warm will activate at 190°F to re-boil the water. For the lower heating temperatures (ex: 175°F – Green Tea), Keep Warm will activate at 160°F and bring the temperature back to 175°F.

A: It doesn’t shut off completely. It will stop boiling but not shut off completely.

A: Yes. The rim is plastic, as is the spout , the inside of the lid and the mesh that the water flows through.

This company does not honor their own warranty
I bought this kettle earlier this year and it broke. I called the manufacturer and started a claim. It has been over a month nothing. They asked and received receipt proof of purchase and a required video they need you to send or you can not even go forward with a review. Then after 2 weeks they stated my video wasn’t long enough and now nothing. I will never buy from this company again.
