Nearly Perfect
This set is huge. There is only one section of my shelf that it fits on but that's ok because it demands your attention. Minifigures are perfect and the build is excellent on display. I have one problem which is there are some parts of the build that where you can see bits of blue through SNOT bricks and there are areas of grey that stand out. Overall though, the set is incredible.

As a life long The Lord Of The Rings fan, I had to get this, it’s such a sick build, the in universe Barad Dur took 600 years to build, this one took me 2 days, I was really pleased that the eye is brick built not just one big printed piece, the detail of the tower has been recreated really well, especially being made out of LEGO, it’s a huge model, highly recommended.

Sinister Lego Set for Sure
Almost as awesome as Rivendell...this thing is massive and a great build. Super rewarding and I hope you buy it and feel the same. I don't just go all fan on anything, but this is a good excuse. Got me back into Legos big time and highly recommended. But if you don't have Rivendell yet....balance your choices, because that one is the best ever, but this one is up ther for siure.

I watched my boyfriend build this ive never seen someone so involved and so excited to build it. There were no mizsing parts. But there were lots of extra legos left. He bought lights to put inside and wow it looks amazing. Its definitely as tall as it says. I do recommend this lego set even though the price is high!!

The all seeing eye
This is a fantastic display set for any LOTR fan i have only marked it down one star because a little more effort could of gone into the minifigures, for example we get the same chest pieces and head for Sam and Frodo but when they get to mordor they are in rags or the orc armor. I would still recommend as the build itself is fantastic.

lego item was gr8 but the delivery was,awful. said the item would be delivered Saturday then changed to Sunday then I happened to check my email Saturday evening and found it had been delivered and left on the side of the rd near our house. Had I not seen that email it for sure would have been stolen. packages always get dropped off at our house. very disappointing

The best Lego you can buy
I got this is a birthday present from my dad. As soon as I open the box I knew I would like it. I’ve been wanting this set for months. Well when I finally finished it, I realized how big it actually was. The thing is massive and takes up almost all of my shelf. I really love all the small details, especially the cave for Gollum and the plantir stone stone behind the throne. I know it seems expensive but it’s worth the price. You should definitely get this.

Great for big kids but interesting quality control
I was quite excited to order one of these as a celebratory gift to myself. It took about 18 hours to complete the whole fortress but I couldn't help but notice that the quality control wasn't as good as I thought it should be for a set with such a high price. Admittedly, with 5,471 pieces there will be the odd blemish but each bag had pieces with scratches or nicks in them. I can wholeheartedly say that I've never seen that before with any other Lego sets I've purchased.
