2.2 QT Stainless Steel Whistling Tea Kettle - Copper

Top does not seal so it will not whistle. Threw out the box so I can't return it. Garbage now.

I love the copper color on my black stovetop. It doesn't whistle loud enough

Damaged but target is refusing to take it back. Saying it is because they don’t sell it in the store. Be careful buying anything online. At your own risk!

I ordered this pot twice over the holidays as gifts and really liked them! Teapot #1 and teapot #2 were good! They came in a box that was clearly marked Lumenex, stated health info that the website said (no aluminum, food grade, dishwasher safe, etc) and there was a Lumenex imprint on the bottom of the teapot. These were good! Then i tried to order one more for myself (teapot # 3) - This teapot came loose in a cardboard shipping box (no Lumenex box) and it had a tag on it that did not say Lumenex. I contacted Target about this. The agent said I think they sent you the wrong teapot and offered me a $15 gift card (very nice!) and apologized for the inconvenience. I set up a return to send the teapot back. I ordered the teapot again (teapot #4) and this time it came loose in a box with no tag - again it was not in a Lumenex box, contained no information about the teapot, and did not have an imprint on the bottom of the teapot. Just FYI... the original teapot has the imprint Lumenex on the bottom of it. I chose it becuase it is seemed healthy - no aluminum, food grade, stainless steel, dishwasher safe, etc. I liked it! But see pics... the first teapot (teapot #1) has an imprint that says Lumenex on it. The 2 other teapots do not have the Lumenex imprint on them. I contacted Target again about the teapot #4 not having the same Lumenex imprint as the original. This time the Target rep said it is still a Lumenex teapot - they just changed suppliers. Another Target rep specialist - said they changed suppliers. I provided photos and info. And the Target reps did not volunteer a gift card, like the Target rep did with Teapot #3. I asked if they were able to provide a gift card for the inconvenience, and they sent a $10 gift card. See pics: Teapot #1 has Lumenex imprint (and came in a Lumenex box with info) Teapot #2 (I gave as a gift... so no photo) Teapot #3 - no Lumenex imprint, has a tag from a different company Teapot #4 - no Lumenex imprint, and no tag I would highly recommend the true Lumenex teapots (#1 and #2). I question if teapot #3 and #4 were Lumenex products - see pics. Also... if I had gotten the correct original Lumenex teapots - I would have given more of them as gifts. People really liked them. Good luck! Hope they can clear up the issue and ship the correct Lumenex teapot to everyone. Thanks.

Don't waste your time or money on this tea kettle. I've only had it for a month and a half and it is rusting in the inside bottom of the kettle. Stainless steel...HAH! Piece of garbage and beyond the time I can return it. Not pleased at all!

Very nice looking teapot. Boils water quickly and lets you know it’s ready by whistling.

This was meant to be a gift. Teapot came with no box, later than anticipated. I have purchased one before and it makes a hit cup of tea.

The spout did melt from my industrial gas stove use. I did my research and it said that it would not melt and that is why I purchased it. Very disappointing.

Poor design, can't poor out last cups without spillage and likely burns. Spout doesn't work right. Looks terrible to clean. Filmy material. Took forever to arrive.

Surely, not the color I was going for. This product works well. When it’s about ready, I can hear the whistle… hand a great handle for us to grab a hold of. And a slight button to move to open the spout to pour the hot water.. it’s a very nice kettle. In the ad it shows a beautiful starburst red and I got a flat red. It’s actually a fire red- still not the color as advertised. That’s why I gave it three stars…

Delivery on time. Wanted the silver finish but took the copper. Very nice finish and well constructed.

Last one in stock. Did not have the cover/lid.

I bought this a few months ago and the inside bottom is peeling and leaving floaters in the water. It's supposed to be stainless steel but it didn't last 4 months. Very disappointed.

Like other tea kettles, it creates boiling water when the interior is filled with water and placed upon a heating source, or an oven in this modern age. It will let you know when the water is boiling by a whistle. Incredible device.
