Good, but............
Bought for me as a present. Opening the box, there was absolutely nothing on the enclosed leaflets to indicate where to look for a manual or instructions online. Google search gave me various options, and finally I found a full manual. Registering the product takes you ages to find something useful in the Sony group. Sound is very good, but certainly not noise-cancelling, although this wasn't an essential requirement for me. It should be called "external noise reduction" at best. Ambient Sound mode is the only alternative option, but it's guesswork to know what one you've chosen. For playing music, establishing how to pause, rewind, fast forward, increase/decrease volume is a bit tricky, trying to tap the correct ear-buds the appropriate number of times. Checking the charge remaining in the case or ear buds is a bit hit and miss - the length of time the indicator light is lit too vague to rely on it being sufficiently charged for later use. Then you have to refer to the manual to be sure and confident. The green and orange flashing or static light can't be easily seen in bright sunlight. Over time I'm sure I'll get the hang of these hassles. Hopefully.

Great audio quality but poor fit
Audio quality is very good, however there is one point that lowers my rating. First of all, it's very difficult to make them fit in my ears. I've tried all the available earbuds, but none of them give the perfect fit. I've nearly lost them already twice as they've fallen out from my ears.

Best I've tried in a while
Might come back and change to 5, haven't owned them long enough yet. Im convinced some competitor is review bombing these, all the negative reviews on here are insane. I have had JBLs for the last 5 pair of earbuds (im hard on them at work and my dog USED to chew them) and these blow them out of the water for sound quality, comfort, volume, ANC, interface, etc. Even just the little bump on the top of the left one so you know which one you're holding by feel. They are very good. If I change my mind for some reason ill come back, but they aren't "falling out 20 times" or "not charging" or whatever people are saying. I dunno. Skill issue I guess.

Fantastic sound quality and the noise cancelling is very effective, minor issue with comfort on the left ear but that's more likely to be shaping of my ear.

Don’t stay in your ear. Their called earbuds.
I have had these a couple weeks now. They sound great. Like the controls. The only problem is they don’t stay in my ears. Tried different size earbuds. As long as you are not walking, doing work around the house, exercising or doing any sort of activity, they are good. Can’t believe how frustrating these are. I was doing light work outside and in two hours time they must have fallen out 20 times. Only good for sitting still and working.

Faulty
Worst possible experience ever buying new earbuds, received them and being excited checked everything out. Connected them to my phone and straight from the box they were glitching, sound cutting off very bad, sound being distorted. I thought okay maybe just need to get them to be on for a little long. I use them for around 3/4 hours laying in bed and as soon as I move a little the sound starts doing the distortion and cutting out. I then read help articles and update my Sony app. Update my phone. Reset the headset. Nothing works still. I then decided to try for a replacement but the email to email process got to me so I just ended up returning them. I wanted an update from my old WF-C700N’s. I’m getting a new pair as they never had any issues.

Brilliant
Bought these to replace an old pair of Samsung Buds pro, was looking at the new buds pro, however was reccommended these and I made the right decision. Sound quality, for music, calls is amazing, as is ANC and transparency mode. Battery life is amazing. Would reccomend in a heartbeat

Smart looking, comfortable earbuds - recommend
I bought these a couple of weeks ago and so far am loving them. Really comfortable in the ear, nice small holder for charging and great charge life. First time I have bought this brand of earbuds but would definitely buy again.

Do not buy
Headphones don't connect to the terminal. Will not charge. Will always reconnect to your phone while it's in the case. When you finally get it to not the case blinks until it dies. Actually the worst wireless headphones I've ever had. Spend another 20 and save yourselve.

Overall good earphone, minor adjustments needed
Sounds is good, noise cancellation could be better. The fit isn't the best, it can hurt the ear.

Sub standard experience
I bought them on release in October and initially all the pre sale reviews looked incredible, don’t be fooled by them, these are inferior to several in the same price bracket. The software glitches are unbearable, best believe they won’t stay in noise cancelling mode, one earbud dies about 30 mins before the other. They lose charge unbelievably quick. They don’t always turn off when you put them back in the case and close the lid, often staying connected to the phone. If I could return them now I would, you have been warned!
