Q: Does this come with the parts to have between 2 bannisters or only for 1 bannister and the wall? Also, if my bannisters are uneven, would this still work?

Q: If you are attaching to one bannister, is there a way to mount the latch on the opposite wall without damage?

A: This would need to be screwed into the wall. The only way to install without screwing it into anything would be between two banisters.

Q: Can I install the gate and later remove it without damaging the wall or bannister?

A: If you are mounting this gate to a wall, you will need to drill holes into the wall to secure it. There are adaptors available for both the round and square banisters that will not leave any damage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works great for us! we're using it for the top of our stairs - installation was a bit cumbersome but it does seem pretty durable. Our stairs are narrow so it is usable by all means but we can't really use the walk through feature as it's really tight so we have to fully open it and then close it which is kinda hard to do but i guess that's a good thing especially when baby reaches its height

If you need to mount it to a square banister post, be prepared for a challenge. The included square corner protector relies on adhesive that doesn’t stick well, constantly falling off during installation. Without a secure grip, getting the gate properly mounted was incredibly frustrating and time-consuming.

This is a well made and sturdy product. It was not heavy to lift and move either. I like that there was more than one color choice to choose from as well.

Our steps have a banister on one side but a wall on the other. I really needed a baby gate that was sturdy (didn't want to risk pressure mounted at top of steps) but I also didn't want to damage the banister. This gate worked perfectly! It attaches to the banister securely without causing damage and the other end is secured to the wall. Installation was fairly simple, and it's easy to open and close one handed. Very happy with it!

It’s adjustable and could fit quite a large opening, making it a really good universal top of the stairs gate. It only took about 10 minutes start to finish to install.
