To charge a Ring Video Doorbell battery. 1. Remove the security screws at the base of the doorbell. 2. Pull the bottom edge of the faceplate toward you to remove it. 3. Press the metal tab to unlock the battery, then slide it down. 4. Plug the micro-USB charging cable into the battery.

A: It’s not necessarily you can still see live footage and speak through however you will not be able to record any footage or save footage you need a subscription for that which starts at $5 a month which is a great investment along with the ring to have some peace of mind

Color Night Vision adds color to video in low light for improved clarity and motion detection. With the feature turned off, your Ring device will show video captured at night in black and white.

Will not charge. Battery @61%, charged all night following morning battery at 43% Returning. I had a Ring camera I left at previous home 3+ years ago. The battery was removable this one is not. The RING App has changed too & not for the better. Can't sync with Echo Show worked on it all day. Ring is syched w/Alexa but will not show me who is at door. I have a dud!

The battery lasts quite a while, but having an extra one doesn't hurt. It really helps because sometimes I'm alone and can't (really shouldn't for safety) get to the door. Being able to speak (with clear audio and visual) to the visitors or know when deliveries come is very helpful. My husband likes being able to watch the house when he's gone. You can't go wrong with Ring.
