A: Thank you for your interest in Rizos Curls! Rizos Curls Curl Defining Cream is a moisturizing curl definer that is a medium weight that will give hold, shine, and definition to your curls. It is perfect for your 2c/3a curls! Just remember, with fine curls that weigh down easily, less is more. When applying, you will section your hair into 2-4 sections, applying a dime/nickel amount of product to each section. Rake in cream from about an inch below the root to the ends. Scrunch section to encourage curl pattern. Repeat on each section. Diffuse on medium heat & speed to lock in curl definition. For increased volume, be sure to diffuse hair upside down to dry roots off the scalp. Our Rizos Curls Curl Defining Mousse is another great option to give you the same hold, shine & definition but as a weightless styling foam. I tend to need more moisture in the colder months and use the Curl Defining Cream. In the spring & summer, my curls love the hydration of the Curls Defining Mousse. Same results, 2 different formulas. Our minis & travel kits are perfect to try! They are generously sized travel bottles that are good for 2-3 uses. Ideal to find the perfect Rizos Routine when unsure.

I have very fine thin curly hair. Usually creams are a diaster so I wasn't going to get this. But I did. Found my holy Grail!!! It's thick and I thought, no way. I squished some in and it felt different. Hydrating yet not heavy. It actually added GOOD moisture to my hair. I added my gel and my foam and diffused. I got great curl definition, bouncy hair, volume. I have been getting good hair days for 4 to 5 days before rewashing.I tried not using it and didn't get the great results. Please never get rid of this or change formulation. First cream ever to work and it does what it claims to do and I'm not kidding!!!!

I have 3a curls! I bleached my hair TWICE. Dyed my hair 3 times!!!This product has brought my curls to life, FROM THE ROOT!! (Which is the most damaged part ngl) and it brought shine and definition..My hair was so frizzy and DRY. This is so nourishing and wonderful. The product itself is great. Defines my waves while staying soft. It seriously helps control frizz too! I am very picky/sentitive to fragrances and scents. There is no added "fragrance" on the ingredient list, so I was very hopeful I would like this. I smelled it at the store before buying. It had a strong coconut type smell. I didn't love, but thought I could live with it. Tried it immediately, and think I have to return it. The smell is intense, and really just gives a cheap "hair product" smell with a hint of 90's car freshener. I don't know how else to describe it. It's the only thing I can smell, it's starting to give me a headache. I can't wait to wash my hair. I really like it besides the smell. So bummed.

Ok this curl cream goes crazy - I suffer from frizzy, not cute wavy hair and it’s been hard to find a product that didn’t leave my hair looking wet or just. ring super frizzy. I picked this up thinking it’d be yet another trial and error product, but it works miracles! My hair smells amazing, gets perfect curly waves, and doesn’t look greasy or wet or crunchy!! Even when I accidentally use way more than i need, it still looks gorgeous. 10/10

It's the right amount of moisture, and I love the ingredients in it. It might leave a slight crunch, depending on how much you use and how wet or dry your hair is. I don't mind if it feels crunchy occasionally because I know that cast will make my definition last longer. It smells nice and makes my hair shiny and less dull. It also makes my hair soft and defined. This curl cream doesn't have protein, which my low-porosity hair loves. If you have done a few protein hair masks followed by leave-in creams packed with protein and your hair is still frizzy, it probably wants and needs moisture or is protein sensitive. This product "fixes" my frizz issues for me. It gives my hair what it likes. I still get frizz sometimes, but I need to experiment more with products, applications, and styling techniques. Despite my frizz, my hair absorbs this cream like crazy! It loves it. Their 'Deep Conditioner' followed by the 'Curl Cream' keeps my hair moisturized in summer and winter. For extra moisture, try using their 'Detangle Spray' in between.
