Q: Where are the extra batteries that come with it. I didn't see any in my box And how do u get the sand out of the water Thank you

submitted by Jennie174 - 1 year ago
  • A: The Robo Fish Robotic Swimming Pets Fish Tank Playset does come with 2 LR44 batteries included. If you didn’t receive them, no worries! You can use LR44 batteries as replacements. o remove the sand from the water, we recommend gently scooping or pouring it out slowly over a strainer or cloth so the sand can separate without clogging a drain. submitted by Marie13 - 2 years ago
  • A: Simply open the battery compartment located on the underside of the fish. The fish requires 2 x 1.5V LR44 button cell batteries. We recommend replacing them with the same type for optimal performance.

The product offers a fun and engaging experience for children, especially those who desire a pet without the responsibilities. While the robotic fish can swim and provide entertainment, many guests reported issues with functionality and the sand's performance. Despite some positive experiences, the overall reliability of the toy seems to be a concern, making it essential for guests to consider their expectations before purchasing.

    Not good!

My son was excited about this fish but the sand that’s supposed to make seaweed did not work! It just fell apart and started floating in the water. The fish do not change color and they sometimes just stop working!

    Disappointing

I bought this for my grandson as we have other robo toys that he loves. Yes, this fish does swim, but it does NOT change color. We put it in cold water as the directions stated. Nothing happened. This was disappointing and in my opinion, amounts to false advertising. For this reaso, it wasn't worth the full price.

    Not so hot

You can’t leave the fish in the water. Removing the fish makes the sand break apart because of the water moving around

Thank you for your review of the Robo Fish Robotic Swimming Pets Fish Tank Playset. Please note that the ROBO Fish operates on a cycle, with each cycle lasting 4 minutes and allowing for up to 30 cycles in 2 hours. We recommend checking and replacing the batteries to see if that resolves the issue. If the problem persists, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team via https://zurutoys.com/contact for further assistance.

    Absolutely no features worked

If you’re looking for a product that does as advertised, this is not the toy for you. If you want a plastic bowl of water with yellow algae and a motionless fish, then go for it.

    Dead fish

It was fun for the first couple of days. The sand is not able to be sculpted as advertised. The fish are cute and swim-we even bought a turtle-but the batteries die quickly-two days. I am on the hunt for batteries now. I would not spend the money. It just didn’t last long enough. If you are into short lived toys-go for it. I do recommend the Robo fish and turtles to swim in the bathtub… Because bath-time only lasts for a little while and once a day so the batteries don’t die as quickly.

    Too flimsy and cheap

Bowl is flimsy. Sand is supposed to be reusable but almost impossible to get out of the water once you put it in.

    "Sand" is awful!

Fish was actually okay. Sand is absolutely awful and I would not recommend using it. It’s impossible to reuse and with all the warnings about the sand in the instructions, I’m feeling pretty sure we don’t want this going down the drain. Do not recommend using the sand at all!!
