We like our new Roku a lot, it works better than expected hooked up to our Samsung Frame TV. The Samsung remote works w/o needing to use the Roku remote; the remote is in a cabinet, which I was afraid would be problematic, but it hasn't been (we don't have to open the cabinet door to use the Roku, though the gadgets do admittedly get a little warm in there).

I just got mine today June 22nd And it is a piece of crap First, there's no plug so you have to have an adapter to plug it in Second, the remote is crap The voice control doesn't work You can't control the TV so the volume buttons and the mute buttons are useless It tells you on the screen that this remote does not have TV control even though it says TV control when I bought it And then half the time the remote doesn't work. You can't change apps, you can't exit the app. You can't get to the home screen. Nothing works on the remote. I wouldn't recommend this to a person I didn't like

Love that it integrates with our new Samsung TV and sound bar. We came from what might be considered a first gen Roku, that was 1080p. It was slow and didn't integrate with our old system. This one does well, and we end up using mostly the Roku remote for just about everything.

I bought 2 of these units, since our cable provider is "upgrading" which makes their app not work on my older Samsung TVs. The Rokus work great and the irony is I can use the cable providers app on Roku. Like the different venues and units all work great.

I got this Roku to replace my Streaming Stick 4K, which failed in less than a year. The Roku Express 4K+ does not use a wireless stick, (which seems to be the Achilles Heel of the Streaming Stick 4K). So far, the Express 4K works very well. So I hope to get a much longer use experience than the afore mentioned Streaming Stick 4K.
