Great for first time users

Two pack is perfect for first time users. I was so frustrated when the smaller one was leaking constantly but switched to the large and it’s perfect. If I’d just bought the one size as recommended by the quiz, I might have prematurely given up on the cup. Carrying on with dancing, surfing, and running around with no worries or leaks.

Really glad I took a chance on these! I like having two size options, and used both during my last period. Definitely a learning curve, particularly with cup removal, but I experienced no leaking or discomfort.

I bout this about three years ago, and I can never go back! I use the regular, blue cup on my heavy days and the small, pink cup on my lighter days! My flow is usually heavier, and my cup leaks when it fills up, but it doesn't leak at all before then!

Have PCOS don’t think twice about getting this

PCOS plus periods 🟰 most horrible time of the month. It’s bad enough that periods suck but with PCOS it makes it 10x more miserable. I Would use and ultra tampon and go through it within 45min to an hour. Now with using the cup I don’t have to worry about bleeding through in that length of time. Not to mention I don’t have to hide in my house for three days ( the heaviest days)out of the five total days it lasts. Also I don’t miss sleep and have to sleep in a weird position with a towel under me so I don’t leak then too in those heavy days. my team loves hers a well. So it’s a win win.

How saalt has changed my life!

So I bought the duo bc idk what size I would be. I’m glad I did- bc when I tried the smaller size, it was on fact too small. But since I had stitches after my daughter was born, I just didn’t know what was going to fit right. From the moment I bought this- I was sold on loving it. I’m a super plus tampon and a pad girl. So I have some high needs going in. I documented my entirety of this trial, and loved every min of it. I tried a “dry” run first - glad I did. I was able to practice the different folds and find the one that worked well with me. I was sold on the c fold. The actual period test- day 1- went really well. Won’t lie, I was scared to go number 2 bc I thought it might fly out of my body! Haha but it did not move. Didn’t budge at all. I kept it in for a solid 8 hours - without leaks. Now I did excessive research prior to using this product. When I inserted the cup, I wiped around the walls to remove any buildup. That’s normal and natural and you are NOT leaking. Taking out the cup day one- was a learning curve. I found that if I’m sitting on the throne, squeezing the cup to release the seal- and holding it down towards my tail bone while removing worked the best. Nothing flew out, and the contents went right into the bowl without going everywhere - Day 2-3 are my heaviest days - instead of the full 8 hours, I had to rinse out every 3/4 hours. But I’ll take that any day over changing a tampon every 25 mins . Some things to mention- I did not feel the cup inside me when it was properly placed. I knew it was full when I could feel a “heaviness” and i felt bloated a little . I did NOT experience any heavy cramping or my normal back pain . My body felt AMAZING the entire week bc there’s no chemicals in this cup. I didn’t realize how much chemicals were in my go to tampons , until I didn’t use them and could actively feel a difference. I highly recommend this. Changed my life. Best thing I’ve bought for myself in a long long time. Loved it so much that 5 other woman bought the cup to try it for themselves. What’s the worst that can happen? That you fall in love with it? Jump in! I’ll never go back to tampons. Saalt has changed my life.

Messy but cool idea

Leaks even using the larger cup, and very messy. I don't enjoy blood all over my fingers every time I have to empty the cup, seems like more work and more mess. I wish I could say it's a game changer but not for me.

I started with this I like that you get two different sizes. It was a great way to see which one was best for me. I wish you could get the duo pack with two of the same size it'd be a great deal.

Game-Changer

I will say that as a first-time cup user, there was a learning curve for removal and it was a bit steep. But it's incredibly worth it. Besides decreasing my cramps and decreasing the duration of my period by 1-2 days, this is a game-changer because I can pop one in before work and it will last an entire 12-hour shift without any problems. This means I can go to the bathroom freely #1 or #2 and not have to deal with any mess. I do wear a liner just in case because the seal depends on my haste with insertion so sometimes there is a minimal amount of leakage, but I'm overall having more comfort and less hassle with my periods. I'm typically an S/S+ tampon user and often get that heaviness and discomfort of a full tampon trying to push itself out by 2 hours. So yes, I'm a very satisfied customer and convert who will tell anyone interested in listening.

Every menstruating person should know about the benefits of this menstrual cup. I am a first time user and I have to say I have had the cleanest most comfortable period yet! Another added benefit is you’re saving the planet with less plastic waste from tampons (the wrappers and applicators) and pads and all the waste they bring. I love that I can go all day feeling clean and dry. Never going back to tampons or pads again. Because I have felt clean and comfortable I feel my mental health has positively been impacted by these products. I also love how supportive saalt associates are about their products, their willingness to help and that my purchase helps provide period products to others who are without access to period products. Give Saalt menstrual cup a try you will be so glad you did!

I am 18 and decided that I wanted to try a cup to reduce plastic waste. I used to fill up my garbage can every period week with all the trash leftover and now I fill it with nothing! I didn’t know which size I would be so I bought this pack. I am definitely a size small, it works out perfectly and so I never use the “regular” size. I have a smaller body and have never given birth for reference. It definitely has a learning curve. When I first started using it I would take at least 10 minutes to put it in or take it out but now it takes me only a few minutes. I love it especially in public because you don’t have to worry about carrying a pad or tampon around. I find this cup pretty comfortable as long as it’s inserted correctly. I’ve never experienced leaks except for if it gets full and I haven’t emptied it for a long time. My flow is in the middle so most days I can last the whole 12 hours. Overall I’m very glad I switched!

Life Changing

When I got my cups I could not stop talking about it to all my female friends. How am I just trying this at 32!? I'm not squeamish but seeing your blood takes a little getting used to. Having both sizes worked for me because I have one very heavy day/night and the rest of my flow is moderate to very light. I preferred the cup to tampons BY FAR and was super excited about the switch but still had some issues with the cup. First off, ladies measure your cervix height! I didn't and found out the hard way mine is high. I got used to having to reach very high to get it out but it was scary almost not being able to reach it at all the first time. The smaller cup is tougher to reach but easier for me to grip to pinch and remove. The bigger cup is easier to reach but actually harder to pinch hard enough to break the seal, especially with any fluid making it slippery. I also had some leaks. The cup seemed to tilt inside my body and sit at an angle after being placed. I was obsessive about making sure it was open and sealed so I think it's just not a perfect fit for my anatomy. At times, right when I inserted, it would put pressure on my bladder. I have very strong pelvic muscles (10 years of heavy weightlifting) and I think the softer version may have worked better for me for some of these problems. Finally, I did overflow the cup during my heaviest night. I wear period underwear as backup so not a big deal but of course would rather not be leaking! Despite these issues I would 100% have stuck with the cup (maybe tried the soft version) and preferred over tampons. It was so much more comfortable, especially on lighter days. I've switched to the Hello Disc, which has a stem and makes removing easier with my high cervix. I found reviews and information on Youtube to find something that worked for my body's needs. Do a little research and find the right product for you! It's truly life changing.

Game changer

Today was the first shot wearing this and it was a game changer. Insertion was easy once I figured out the fold that worked for me (thank you directions)! I did a very intense workout class, worked, traveled on the train- all without a single issue. I didn’t feel it. It didn’t leak. I have a very very heavy flow, I’m talking about bleeding through super plus tampons in a couple hours. This was flawless. It was awesome. Removal was a bit challenging, I anticipated that. Directions said to use thumb and index finger but after about 8-10 minutes of struggling in the shower I remembered that I have other longer fingers and had immediate success with pointer and middle! Love this product!
