A: Hi Klee, Thanks for reaching out! Most people can use both sizes, the small for lighter days and the regular for heavier days, but one size may be more comfortable. In general, we recommend the size small if you are a first-time cup user, have a light flow, or have a low cervix. We recommend the size regular if you have a heavier flow or a higher cervix.

I prefer the original salt cup. This one is soft so it’s easier to put in and pull out. However because it is softer, it is more prone to leaks.

I originally bought the small Saalt cup, and it put pressure on my bladder making it difficult to wear. I got the small soft cup, and it’s amazing. I’ve been using it for three years, and I just bought a replacement as my old one was getting stained and hadn’t been cleaned enough. It’s a learning curve to get used to insertion, but it’s so comfortable when it’s in the right place. I haven’t paid for more than a couple of boxes of tampons since I switched years ago.

My worst fear happened today. It claims it is supposed to last up to 10 years?! Well, it finally snapped and broke after 4 years. I’ve never had any issues with leaks or anything, but the durability does not hold up to standards. The stick to pull it out immediately snapped as I tried to take it out and I was left with a cup inside. I wasn’t able to take it out for hours until I got the courage to just go up and pinch the sides of the cup and yank it out. I don’t know if I’ll repurchase. no problems until the fourth year mark.

I have only used my menstrual cup for two cycles, however I am loving it so far. It is definitely a learning curve figuring out how to get it to properly seal once inserted. But once you have that figured out it’s really nice. I have less cramping and no discomfort once properly in place. I’m not going back to tampons.

too good to be true. wore this for 1 period and made my area smell like some dank rotten fish TIL MY NEXT PERIOD. thinking about it, it traps all the odors and doesnt let air flow so of course itd smell dank for weeks. nvr again .

This cup shape did not work for me. I had constant pressure on my bladder and it made my pee come out super slow. Needless to say, just because this didn’t work for me doesn’t mean it won’t work for someone else.

This is my first time using a menstrual cup and with that being said I was a little nervous to use this cup. Nonetheless, I was able to successfully insert and remove without any issues on my first try. Everything after that was a complete fail. I really wanted to like this but it just doesn’t work for me. Inserting it was completely fine but I had the most trouble getting it to suction inside. Being unable to do this caused the cup to go higher that I liked. Removal of it was also an issue and quite a scary one as well. You pretty much have to insert your entire finger to break the suction (if it will even work) and pull on the tag to get it out.

While this may work for others, it did NOT work for me. No mater how I folded it, or raised my leg up, I could not insert this thing. I bought the small and soft one thinking it would make things easier, but it was like trying to stuff a wadded up cloth (not that I’d know) made of dense silicon though a pinhole. Will be returning.

I love this period cup! I tried a few others like the Lily cup and diva cup, but they felt too big. My cervix lowers A LOT when I’m on my period. The small size is perfect. I’m an 18 year old who hasn’t had any kids for reference.

I got this cup after using Diva Cup for years. It just got to be too firm and was never "invisible" and leaked. I looked into sizing and found the Saalt cup might be a better fit and it totally is. Plus the softness of the cup makes it easier to insert and easier to forget it's in. Recommend to anyone who is having cup issues. Don't give up - just find a different product bc menstrual cups rock!!

Just tried it for the first time and so wish I would’ve tried one years ago! I was so scared of it but it was pretty easy. I was actually so excited to use this cup each day of my period just because I finally felt clean and didn’t have to worry about leaks or feeling uncomfortable. If you are thinking about it, just try it and you won’t go back to pads or tampons. It’s so much cleaner, more comfortable, you can swim or do whatever water activities and not have to worry. I still wore cute panties cause I didn’t have to worry about leaks, and it just all around make me feel better about myself during a time where I usually feel my worst.

I’ve always hated pads/liners and got tired of buying tampons Bc light cycles. I decided to invest in this cup and it’s worth it! Definitely a learning curve but after a couple days you get the hang of it. YouTube videos are super helpful if you are having trouble. I also like this brand’s marketing and how they give back.

Two days of using the Saalt cup had me wondering why I didn’t make the switch a long time ago. I bought the saalt soft accidentally, but ended up being really thankful I did. This cup was so comfortable and incredibly easy to use. I was worried about the learning curve with switching to a menstrual cup, but it really only took me a day or two to feel very comfortable using it. I started my cup journey with the Flex cup because of the convenience of thepull tab but the silicone was so hard it made insertion very difficult! And once inside, because I have a low cervix, tilted uterus AND bladder sensitivity, it was extremely uncomfortable! The Saalt Soft Cup is AMAZING! It was literally night/day compared to the Flex cup. I was super surprised how easy insertion was and it really did ease my cramps. It was also way more comfortable for my bladder sensitivity! No leaks and removal is super easy. I love the color of the cup and cute carrying bag. It’s gonna sound crazy but. . .I look forward to my periods now instead of DREADING them. Saalt Soft makes life sooo much easier! Wish I bought it literally 2 decades ago!
