Q: How can i get over the air channels with this TV? I connected my Philips antenna and the tv does not recognize it.

With smart hub tv plus I only get every 5 channels. Not only is that odd but after an hour on the phone with Samsung support it’s determined everything was tried and there is no fix. The large Samsung in the other room works fine, I get all smarthub channels.

I've never had a 40" Samsung TV. Only issue I've been having the brightness won't stay where it's at. It's great during the day but around 7 pm in the evening it's auto changes. It goes right back where it was when you fix it.

Now this tv isn’t bad but it’s good enough, I just wish it had more updates and more apps it’s looked the same for years now, and I like the look of the interface on the newer ones way better and I just wish this tv looked like the newer ones yk? Screen and sound it’s alright. There’s better ones out there but this one’s fine. I use my Xbox on it and it does well!

Bought this about a month ago, this is a great tv. Easy to set up and has a beautiful clear picture. This 40 " tv is the perfect size for a small to midsize room. Even though it has pretty good sound I paired it up with a Samsung sound bar for a little more oomph when watching movies and music concerts. I've owned Samsung for the last 10 years and have been very happy with their products.

This has no tuner! The power, cable and internet are out frequently here and we resort to rabbit ears. But guess what? NO TUNER! You would think they would have to list this as an exception. I’m crossing Samsung off my list - I’ve had problems with their stove (self cleaning cooks the electronics) and washer (the top shakes off on spin).

I upgraded my 32" Samsung STV to the 40" Samgung Smart TV. Wow! This newer machine is awesome. "Bigger is better." The remote control is bigger, more functional and easier to use. What's most impressive to me is the huge gains in speaker and sound quality. Cheers, Samsung.

I bought the Samsung TV for my 4 year old grandson. The TV is 1.5 shorter than LG screen, that makes it look so small than a regular TV. He still prefer to watch at the LG TV. Wish I could return it but too heavy for me.

This is our bedroom tv. We don’t watch it very often. Nice size, picture and sound was great at first. But then I turned it on and the volume made really loud sounds. Like the speaker was going to break. I unplug it and turned it back on. Worked again. Next time I watched the tv. Same loud noise happened. I bet the speaker is gonna break at any moment. It’s just 1 week past waurantee and only used tv maybe 3-4 hours total.

Nice picture with some good features but the internet browser is not very good and very awkward to use with the remote. I spent hours trying to set up access to some web sites. Very disappointed in the internet access feature as this was one of the main reasons I purchased this TV model.
