Q: How do you get it to vacuum only? Mopping is nice but not every time. There is no option for me to do one or the other, the water resevoir is empty but vac won't even entertain working while empty.

    Do not buy this vacuum if you have animals as the roller gets stuck quite often, you also have to refill the mop container (and it is not very big) every time instead of it auto filling from the docking station. It gets stuck on the legs of our kitchen table and our recliner chair. Almost every time I run it when we are away it will either be stuck or pet hair caught in the roller. This is my second one since the first one made a terrible squealing noise after less than a month of use. I do not recommend this item.

    Too noisy but picks up well

    I just got the new version of this robot after having the one you need to switch out the back to mop. This unit picks up great but it is louder than any of the other Shark robots I've had. I haven't used the mopping feature yet because I can't get it to stop going on the rug areas even when I have those areas way over estimated on the map. It's a good machine but not great. I also was not able to connect it to my Samsung s20 phone. It would only work with the app on my husband's S24. That must be because of a software issue.

    Loved it for 9 months, now regret my purchase

    I loved this for 9 months. The button/latch on my dust cup broke and I cannot vacuum without it taped together, and cannot use the mop feature at all. I have clicked notify me on the replacement dust cup, and still no replacements available in 2 months. This was an expensive purchase and I thought I researched it enough.

    Terrible product!!

    I have bought and returned this robot three or four times already due to the same problem. The water compartment clamp keeps breaking. You dont even have touch it and it will pop off rendering the whole thing useless. It is very cheaply made considering the price!!

    Has to be filled with water EVERY day.

    I have been looking at these for a long time and finally decided to get this one. It works pretty good, however it had a hard time mapping my house the map doesn't quite look right despite doing it twice. The next problem is that it continuously mops my carpets even though I marked it off as carpet. The last thing I didn't realize is that it doesn't have an extra tank for water so I have to refill the robot itself every day so that it works the next day. I didn't fill it one day and it only did a 20 min clean then returned to the base. Honestly this is probably going back because I don't have the ability to fill the robot every day its too much to remember, I will probably get one with a reservoir tank.

    It broke less than a month after I received it and the part to fix it isn’t available and they told me Incan get a replacement of the whole unit but it’s not available either.

    Does not work or last

    I have purchased two of these First one quit working within 1 year Second one came with a glitch we purchased it in August, it will not map out my home correctly, can rarely find its own dock , I usually have to search for it and return it to the dock. About every other day it gives a code, and cannot keep up with what i need it to do. Trying to reach Shark now for warranty and return it. I will NEVER purchase another Shark product again

    easy to set up

    Not worth the money

    I've had this mop for 1 year, 4 months. It leaves a trail of debris all over my floor. It tries to vacuum places it can't go, so it is continuously getting stuck. It was such an unfortunate waste of a lot of money.

    Love Shark, hate the robot mop... with a passion.

    Terrible. This things doesn't mop well at all. We have dogs and they enter through the kitchen. When it is raining they track paw prints into the kitchen. We immediately run the Shark mop robot to clean them up but this things fails. The wet paw prints remain after the shark is done and I have to mop the floors by hand. This was a complete waste of money for us.

    Mop Resivor cheaply made. Skip this buy

    I used the mop part twice before it broke. Like a chunk of the plastic broke off when it bumped into my cabinet. I walked into my bathroom the robot was back on the charging device and there was a corner of the mop sitting on my floor. I went to go purchase another mop part so I can mop while im at work and its been out of stock.

    Factory does not care about the consumer!

    Do not buy this product. I purchased this unit in 2023. It performed well, then started squawking Error Message: 6; bumper sensors failed. Factory would not permit me to buy the replacement sensors/POD to repair my unit's problem. The factor tried to force me to purchase a new unit, but offered a 30% discount, money I did not want to spend. I did not want a new unit. I wanted to repair my unit. Tough luck, said the factory. Shark, that is poor marketing. Because of your policy behavior, I will never buy a Shark Product again. Dyson will be my next purchase.

    Not worth the aggravation.

    I thought this would make my life easier and was I wrong! It cannot figure out where it is and I have had to remap my rooms multiple times. If I don't use it for a week, it cannot find itself. Then if I drop/re-add it, it cannot pair with my wi-fi. The roller is constantly clogging. It catches and gets stuck on the edges of area rugs. It misses large areas of floor in a room that should be simple to sweep. Do not waste your money on this model.

    Product is ok other than keeps breaking

    I bought this product a little over a year ago and have had to have it replaced twice. The part where you push to take the part that hold the water keeps breaking.

    it works

    when it works, it works great. but the app is quite a hassle, especially if you have to delete the robot due to tech errors/issues. Also, the "brush roll is stuck" error is super frustrating even if there is nothing stuck in the robot - but if you have the robot under warranty, then they will replace it or that part.
