submitted byJen S - 2 years agoA: Once you remove the handle portion from the stick - it sits down infront on the hook at the bottom of the stick at the base. That's how I store mine, it's easy enough that even if I'm just sitting it down for a few moments to move things around I can unhook and rehook it quickly.

Q: Does this model have an on button that doesn’t have to be continuously held to keep it running?

A: We are happy to confirm that you do not need to continuously hold a button to use this vacuum. It has a power switch that goes from Off, to Bare Floors, to Carpet.

A: We can assist you with this. The pet multi tool is two cleaning tools in one. Stiff bristle brush removes stuck-on debris from a multitude of surfaces. Detach the bristles to reveal an upholstery tool for cleaning stubborn pet hair.

Q: What charging cord do I need for this model? I can't find the original and meed to buy a back up. I went to Target and they said they don't carry replacement cords.

I have not even had this for 3 months. You can't clean the rotator bar, and now wont hold a charge. I had charged it overnight twice and it will not turn on. Filter is not even dirty. Spent 300 on junk. Going back to Dyson.

I've bought 2of these vacuums in the last 2 years , The 1st one broke right where you have to take it off to empty the dirt. I just thought we did something but now my 2nd broke 5 months later in the same spot ! very angry because its past the return date :(

I needed a new vacuum cleaner because my old one fell over and the dust bin cracked and the dirt would escape while in use...becoming useless. I wanted one that would stand on its own. This vacuum cleaner was more than I planned for but it's very efficient and quiet. It does a great job and is easy to use. But it's still worth the money. I spend less time vacuuming. I took off one star because the unit is heavier than I thought so my hand gets tired.

I would not recommend especially to people with kids and pets. It works great for the first 6 months then the charge only last 15 minutes as opposed to the 40 min charge as advertised. Its very expensive so id expect it to hold up a little longer than 2 years. Ive already had to replace the charger.

I have had this a little over a year, a full charge allows me to do my whole 1800 square foot home. Does a good job picking up cat hair and kid crumbs but the motor is starting to burn out already and it smells badly when you use it and the smell lingers. My last vacuum was half the price and lasted me almost 10 years this is disappointing

If you have a golden retriever, husky or any long hair dog this vacuum will not work for you. It claims it’s good with pet hair but the pet hair gets stuck and gets clogged every time you vacuum. We’ve had the vacuum for 5 months and I wish I returned in before the 30 day return mark.

Not my favorite vacuum at all. Doesn’t have great suction. Supposed to be a pet vacuum, but only picks up dog hair went directly over it, doesn’t suction from the sides like other vacuums I’ve used. I have not had this for a long time, but the battery has been fine and it is not clogging so I have not had the same problem as other people. Definitely not the best stick vacuum on the market, especially for the price. I do like that it is simple and sleek. Taking the top handle off and storing it on the bottom has been no problem for me.

Wow! This is my favorite vacuum of all time! My husband and I have 9 cats and nothing has ever picked up fur like this before! I occasionally sprinkle baking soda on the carpet to keep it smelling fresh and I last did that two weeks ago and I vacuum every day: it picked up the left over baking soda! Every other vacuum I’ve ever had spit a bit of litter back at me but this thing eats it all!! I only wish it had a detachable battery. Which is why it’s 4 stars. But this thing picks up dirt and fur and litter like a champ! Shark, you’ve made a forever customer!

I've used this 2 times now and it stopped working, won't take a charge. 2 lights on it just flash. Manual says call customer service. Which I will do and possible give a new review if it's not a hassle to get this working.

I love how convenient and light it is! Simple to assemble and charge. It is my first cordless vacuum it came recommended by my best friend, well she recommended the shark rocket but I decided on the pet one and I have no regrets!

I've had this for a year and it worked great until just before the year mark. It started making a very loud noise when on and the suction stopped working. I regularly empty and clean it, but I double checked everything to see if maybe something was stuck. Everything looks good, but it still won't work. For as much as it costs it should last longer than a year.
