A: The NeverChange HEPA filter in this air purifier model does not need to be washed or replaced frequently like traditional filters. To maintain the filter’s performance, you only need to check and clean the two mesh dust filters when prompted. When the dust filter maintenance alert appears, remove the mesh dust filters and clean them using a vacuum with a soft brush attachment or by rinsing them with room temperature water. Make sure the filters are fully dry before reinserting them. Do not wash or immerse the HEPA filter, as it is not washable. If you have further concerns, you can also call 1-855-523-4061 for product support.

Excellent air purifier for clean air. It constantly checks the air quality and turns itself on and off when it is set to auto mode. It is also pretty quiet for the amount of air it cleans. The main hepa filter lasts for 5 years. Hopefully it doesn’t cost too much when it needs to be changed. However the two side filters need to be cleaned regularly.

We purchased the Shark air purifier as a replacement for one that did not perform very well. The Shark actually performs at a level that the advertisement claimed! It adjusts the level of air circulation automatically, It is super quiet and easy to maintain. We have been very happy with this purchase and would not hesitate to recommend this product to friends.

Have had the unit up and running for a couple weeks now and so far so good! I'm obsessed with watching the numbers. I got the smaller 650 ft lilac one for my bedroom suite too and it's the same. I love that you can dim the display and how quiet this runs. I'll continue to stick with Shark!

Purchased two units for 2100 sq.ft. house. They worked great for three months. Then they stopped working. Both units would only register 0 clean air. Cleaned the Hepa Filter per the instructions, cleaned all air screens including the sensor on the back. They worked....for two weeks and stopped again. Have cleaned the units every two weeks for three months. Today, neither unit will register. Cleaned them again for the second time in two days and still neither works. It is like they are talking/linked to each other...AI???? Shark replaced one unit but these units do not last 5 hears, they don't even last 1 year. Totally disappointed for the big money, not worth it.

I have had this thing for several months and there really is no rhyme or reason to why it comes on or goes off. It basically detects faint smells (good or bad) and comes on. It does NOTHING for dust, as the dust is collecting around it months later. It just doesn't do what I assumed it was supposed to do.

I absolutely love my new Shark NeverChange Air Purfiier MAX - leaves my home smelling great! I may partake in marijuana from time to time and it leaves my house smelling of it. Not anymore! I love that right after we partake the indicator on the device goes red....and within minutes back to blue - pure air and house smelling clean again! I've had the HP150 for a couple of weeks and I think it is working well. It seems to have cleared up a funky smell in the bedroom. When it's in the kitchen it kicks into high gear for smoke and steeam.

I bought this about 2 weeks ago because my skin was reacting to some allergen in my home. Since purchasing, my skin conditions have gotten better. The auto feature is really nice as I can leave it on indefinitely and not have to worry that it is consumer a crazy amount of energy. I also like that it shows the different particulates and amounts it is detecting in the air. Very sensitive machine!

When we first plugged it in it stayed on 100 % air quality without fluctuating, so we thought there was something wrong with it. But then, we cooked a meal in the kitchen,(the unit is in the next room) And the air quality went down, the unit came in and stayed on until it was 100 % again. Highly recommend

I have bought 2 of these now. They are great product. Highly disappointed though with Shark activating my warranty while the product is still waiting on pickup from the shipper. I didn’t receive either of my purifiers until a good week after Shark activated my warranty. Definitely not a business practice that I would be proud of.

This very quiet air purifier works great! I love how light it is so I can move it to different rooms. It is quiet and unobtrusive when I am watching a show on TV or working on my computer. It changes the air quailty from 83 to 100 in a short period of time. It doesn't scare my timid cat.
