Never Change Air Purifier
I wanted this air purifier so bad that I ask my daughter for it as a mother’s day gift 2025. She brought it for me and it only worked for 6 months. Everything time I turn it on the I indicator light stays on 0. I looked at some many YouTube videos on how to troubleshoot it. Nothing works. This is my 2nd and last ever shark product. I will no longer support this company. The prices are ridiculous expensive and they don’t last.

Terrible, don’t waste your money!!!
I bought the two pack for bedrooms and within 2 months one failed and within three months the other one failed. I got warranty replacements and within 2 months they both failed again. Every time it was the sensor registering zero percent air quality, I cleaned it according to the directions and they would continue to go to zero shortly afterward until it would never clear. Four of these and all the same failure. They sent a replacement “upgrade” to the mid size one and it eventually had the same issue, sometimes would just start running at full speed when it was showing 100% and I had to power it off to get it to work right until it failed again. Eventually I just threw it away because it would continue to operate improperly, maybe got 4 months of use before it failed too. I would give zero stars if possible. This line of products is absolute garbage, what a waste of money!!!

Doesn't help with smoke
I read a review that said this helps with smoke smells and it doesn't. My neighbors smoke and the smell is really strong in my condo. I ran this air filter for several days on high and it said the air was 100% clean, but it did nothing for the odor. I'm also not a fan of the "odor neutralizing" cartridge - even on the lowest setting it just makes everything smell like Lysol. Not at all what I was hoping for from an air purifier.

BAD instructions! Worse filter EVER!
A Christmas gift from my son. The color stays red and will not reset regardless of the room I put it in. There is NO direction that shows which is a reset button either. All instructions state the "filter reset button" THERE IS NO RESET BUTTON!! NOR IS THERE ANY INDICATION WHISH BUTTON MAY ALSO BE THE RESET BUTTON!! This is a FAIL in my estimation!

I’ve had my “never change” air purifier for 5 months and it displays I have 22% filter life left, my air is 0% clean the other measurements read 999

Not worth it
Bought mine in January and the sensor must be gone in my air purifier it reads 0% never changes. It worked the first month perfectly but ever since than it reads 0% I’ve cleaned the screen it was barely dusty not sure what to do next. Would not recommend

Sensor Issues on 2 units
My first unit was warrantied due to the sensor not working properly and saying the air quality was always at 0%. My replacement unit started doing the same thing in less than two months. I've tried all the suggestions to reset it. I'm not going to try to get another replacement. I'm just going to run the unit with the fan on 1 instead of auto since auto throws the fan into high. I've had no issues with my larger unit. But there definitely is a sensor issue with the compact units.

Can't run at same time as a room humidifier
Bought 2 of these for bedrooms. Reason for 1 star rating, it kicks on immediately & stays on whenever I run a small humidifier, esp during night, all night long. And is too loud & wakes me up frequently. Same thing happens with my 2 other large units. Disappointed since I need the humidity but need clean air too !!! Turning the Shark to a constant speed is not an acceptable option, and will shorten the unit (& filters) life span...

The Clean Sense IQ technology continuously tracks airborne particles, and humidity can influence these readings, causing the purifier to work harder. Giving the unit proper space, at least 3 inches, and using AUTO mode can help it adjust more efficiently. It’s also normal for air quality readings to shift when both devices are operating, as the purifier detects and clears additional particles created in higher humidity. Probably saved my family from a gas leak
I originally bought this air purifier because my old one was becoming dangerous and starting to spark. It was from a different brand. I would highly recommend this air purifier, especially with the grading air quality feature that it has because it actually probably saved my family’s lives. I had a suspicion that there was a gas leak and I noticed that the air purifiers scoring feature kept getting lower once my heater was turned on and the air compressor was outside next to my water heater. Turns out my water heater had a severe gas leak, and my air purifier had picked up on the change in air quality when my air-conditioning heater was turned on. I had a suspicion and would smell gas here and there, but thought I was going crazy. Turns out it was picking up, what I realized after about a week, was the gas leak penetrating my house. If it wasn’t for the scoring feature on the air purifier, I don’t know if I would’ve trusted my gut to have the gas company out to check for a leak. I highly recommend this for any household with children and I’m really happy that I purchased it. On another note, I didn’t give it the full five stars just because I didn’t realize that once exposed to a humidifier, which because my boys had caught a cold recently, the score feature would remain at zero moving forward. I might need to reset it or something, but I wish I would’ve realized that before and I expected it to potentially dry out and return back to a normal score feature but it hasn’t yet and it’s been maybe a couple weeks. Overall, I would buy this purifier again and would recommend to anyone who is in search of an air purifier.

Quiet on Auto…doesn’t clear odors quickly.
This Shark Never Change air purifier was a Christmas gift. It was easy to set up and it’s very quiet on Auto mode. I put it to the ultimate test when I cooked an omelette and bacon on my electric stove top. I made sure to move the air purifier into the kitchen right by the stove. The quality reading went from 100% to about 55%, which was expected. The system kicked into high gear and began working to clear the air, which met my expectations. What I’m disappointed in is that 6 hours later, the air quality was only a fair reading and the SMELL/ODOR from the eggs and bacon were still very much present. I expected not a fragrant smell, but just a clean air smell. Overall, I’m happy with my gift, but not as happy as I should be.

Blown away!!!
We are a Shark/Ninja family, owning dozens of their products. This is one of my favorite products! Within minutes my house smelled cleaner, the air felt fresher land gave a nice refreshing feel to my house. We have a German Shepard and husky so the “dog smell” is real! We are non-smokers so can’t attest to the smoke odors but I have a feeling that it will help immensely with the odor. I’m going to order a second air purifier to put in the bedroom and possibly another just for the kitchen.

Had High Hopes
Bought mine just under a year ago… already has stopped functioning properly. I have exhausted all options for troubleshooting, it now just takes up floor space. I would not recommend.

Great small air purifier!
I bought this less than a month ago and so far I am pleased. I have a lot of environmental allergies and it helps clean the air in my bedroom. Best part is not having to keep on purchasing filters!
