Shark Navigator Robot Vacuum and Self-Empty Base with Bagless, 60-Day Capacity and SmartPath Navigation RV2120AE

By far the best Vox Box I ever received and most fun to review. I’ve had this Shark Robotic vacuum product installed and in use for about 2 months. What I loved most about the Navigator Robot Vacuum is the self emptying base technology and capabilities and its strong cleaning performance. I received the Navigator RV2100s/RV2100AE Series. The vacuum Base was installed in my lower level living room in a corner next to an electric outlet with clearance on both sides. It is close to the WiFi router. It is connected to WiFi to control functions, however this was actually tested when my husband was NOT home and the vacuum accidentally was bumped into, it turned on and started vacuuming and he turned it back to base from his phone while 5 miles away. During setup the vacuum was oriented to the living room downstairs and robotically created a map layout of floor plan. If you had a bag placed in the room it would avoid it but we tried to pick up anything that could be hazardous or inconvenient such as wires or fabrics that could damage the vacuum prior to each use. Theres a side brush that is a great addition it helps collect the stray dust bunnies that might get away otherwise. The Navigator battery is long lasting for all the work that this robotic vacuum has to do. So when the battery gets low it will automatically return to base and recharge and then continue finishing afterwards. The SharkClean App is great and easy to use. My opinion based from my use these last 2 months I highly recommend getting the Shark Navigator. I have hard vinyl floors, but long hair and lot of dog hair and I had no issues I had with other vacuums. This Vox was a success and helped clean my house without any labor, only thing I had to do was lift a finger in the Shark clean app and now I have clean floors.

It’s so perfect because we both work full time and so we schedule it to run while we’re out of the house, and then come home to a perfectly clean home. The battery life is perfect for our 1800sqft apartment. It’s quiet and perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not my first Shark Robot Vacuum, and probably won’t be my last, because they work well, rarely get hung up, and are easy to schedule, so cleaning up isn’t a hassle. And the Navigator Robot Vacuum lives up to all my expectations. The vacuum comes well packaged and safe, double boxed and in perfect condition, film covering sensitive areas to make sure nothing is scuffed or damaged. The directions for getting it up and running are large and clear, and it is mostly intuitive. I experienced the most hassle when connecting to the app (which o already had), but I think it was a problem with my wifi. Other than that, you pretty much just plug in the base, connect the spinning edge cleaner (mine came with 2, a backup, which is fantastic), place the vacuum on the base. It immediately began to charge, so I gave it a bit before setting it on its way. Functionally, I really like this base better than my older model. The robot self empties, of course, and you will have to occasionally dump it out. Because the base has a sleek, smooth front, to empty it, there is a large, easy to push button on the back right. It’s simple to find with your fingers (as you won’t be able to see it easily), and after pressing, the right side disconnects so you can take it to the trash. I really like this feature. Another feature I like is that the base has a way to wind up the cord inset into the back, so you no longer have to worry about excess cord, which is perfect for me as my Robot sits almost directly under an outlet. Most importantly though, how well does it work? Outstandingly! I have it on a tile floor, and a thin carpet, and it handles both like a champ. It keeps my dust and dirt under control, and I don’t have to fret over it. True to its name, it navigates the space well, even when encountering unexpected cords and furniture. My Shark is in my photo studio, and I’m constantly moving and replacing equipment, tables and chairs. Seldom do I find that my Robot has lost its way. The app is fairly intuitive to use, and you can schedule your Robot to do its job on a consistent basis, then forget it (until it’s time to dump the waste). I use it weekly, as my space isn’t constantly used, but I do have sandstone walls the weep dust consistently. I am a very happy Shark user for years, and the Navigator Robot Vacuum is worthy of the name. I have a lot of Sharp products, from vacuums to kitchen and bathroom gear, and all have lived up to my high standards. I will and have recommended them, and will continue to do so.

Setting it up took a bit of time but wasn’t too hard. I did not like that it got stuck on things frequently and it constantly had hair getting stuck. Probably not a great choice for people with long hair or pets.

I have run this a few times per week, and it appears to be keeping my floors clean. The battery has never run down fully while vacuuming my floors, which is great. I appreciate having the self-empty base so I don't have to remember to empty the vacuum weekly. Since this vacuum is on the second story, I really appreciate it has the technology to recognize the stairs and not tumble down. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to use a robot vacuum.

The Shark Robot vacuum goes slow cleaning each room, I could definitely go faster with my regular vacuum and get into the smaller places the robot vacuum couldn’t. It’ll be nice to use when we bring our newborn hole from the hospital and have no energy. Goes from hardwood to carpet and back with ease. I probably wouldn’t use it if I wasn’t home just because I have a dog. But if the dog was away from the house with me, I might set it then.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with my vacuum cleaner we are 5 people in my home are 3 children and we are two adults, and I must admit that it is a wonder I have more time for myself, at night I lift all the toys and spaces where I need it to aspire, including large garbage such as wrapping some sweet some piece of napkin or so or very small toys since they can get stuck in the vacuum cleaner. It is an easy wonder to configure and connect with Alexa as well as the control through the phone I make a map of my home almost perfectly and I decide which spaces can vacuum and which not as well as the suction intensity handles 3 levels, low, medium and moderate I usually use it in the middle and can vacuum the whole house I program it during the night and the noise for me is very slight to nobody causes us problem is very low the sound, the moderate suction is very good too But the battery runs out faster in terms of noise is only slightly higher, it handles a light brush that sucks all the equines and with its tires it makes it easier for it to go up to any surface it uses 3 types of filter, HEPA, foam and a rotator. In conclusion, it is superconscious and aspires very well to allergies and diseases.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to set up the robot on the app. It took about 15 minutes to scan the downstairs area where it will run on the tile floor & rugs. It picks up dirt, grass, food, and dog fur very well. I love that you can choose the rooms for it to clean and you can create no-go areas on the app for the robot to avoid cleaning. It’s not quiet but who cares when it works so well.

Pros: - very easy to set up - only took 10 mins! - like the look of it - the app is easy to navigate - does a good job to swiping up small things Cons: - kind of loud (but also what vacuum isn’t) - I don’t know where to keep the self empty container given that it needs so much room around it (personally don’t want it on display) All in all, I would recommend this proud! Especially to anyone who hates to vacuum

It seems to have plenty of battery life for my entire first floor and manages our shallow carpet in a snap. Waiting to see how well it collects the long hair from our heads in the long term but so far it’s brilliant! Also I love the ease of use with the app to direct it. Another bonus.

I was so happy to be able to view a video on how to set it up. It automatically started on its own. I expected the vacuum cleaner to go in different directions once it bumped into something but that was not the case. It got acquainted with my apartment and it vacuumed in the most perfect, even lines I could never do! Not only does it do a perfectly even job, it also talks and tells you what it is doing and what it needs. For instance, it will tell you it needs to empty and then it finds it s way back to the base. Then it tells you it needs to be recharged and it will find its way back to the base. This has truly been a Blessing to me, because I have the most difficult time vacuuming. It takes me all day to vacuum because I cannot do it all at one time. With the robot vacuum cleaner I was able to move things out of the way and it cleaned my entire apartment within a very short time. For those looking for the perfect gift for either an elderly loved one or someone who is physically challenged, this is definitely the gift to buy! I am so ecstatically happy with this product. This vacuum does a really good job at cleaning and it’s super convenient to turn on and let it do the work. This vacuum is not as noisy as the conventional vacuums.

I like how it scans your house, and you can set no cleaning zones on the map. Battery life is not bad as it takes 60 minutes for it to clean the whole house. Suction power is excellent and definitely picks up all the dust.
